Alex does a great job of getting people riled up against the state... 

BUT he's only about 50% truthfull.

Nathan Rothschild did not cheat investors in the London stockmarket out of there money.  He bluffed them because he had legitimately earned insider information.  Nothing wrong with that.  Fransisco Dioniconia did the same thing with the Mexico rail line, that is fooled all the people who depended on his mind.

Secondly, Alex criticizes transhumanists, he clearly does not understand shit about it.  I believe in transhumanism myself and the likelyhood that the human race is going to split into two races - the atheist/capitalsit/immortals and the religious/poor/mortals - but my becoming rich or living a long time does not take anything away from anyone.

Just because "religion is opiate for the masses" doesn't mean all atheists are "on top of things" and all religious people are on the bottom.  And since many people "on top of things", members of the elite, still need to maintain appearances, they self-identify as religious people too.  And for some psychologically weak people (like myself) religion could be of great help...  So, in other words, best to leave religion out of it.

Wealth is wealth.  Racial, cultural, and personal issues like religion don't matter.
