I was going for the haughty, "I drink sham-pahg-na" refined artiste sound.  It's not the easiest thing to convey in type.  I hear remarks denying Bjork's aesthetic all the time, usually the exact same words you just spoke, and I usually just don't agree with what they think of as beautiful.  It's basically a rehearsed line.  I also think that Lindsey is hot for all the same exotic, sultry qualities.
