Help, I need frequent flyer miles quick!

Help, I need frequent flyer miles quick!

It is going to be 90 degrees outside today.  According to this map, I'm in the hottest part of the country.

http://www.weather.com/maps/activity/fitness/usforecastmondayhigh_large.html

Thankfully, it looks like there is hope.  If I can get a ticket from NH to some place cold like CA, AZ, UT, NV or NM I'll be OK.

Please, help a brother out!

P.S. This is so annoying!  Why does New England have to be the hottest part of the country?

It certainly was.  The map changed a lot.  It is now 89 in Concord, NH but the map shows Concord in the 50s, lol.  You gotta love weather.com, it's less accurate than your local weatherman :)

You can get a really decent portable A/C for the cost of a plane ticket. I just did.

Protip: The image at that address gets changed out regularly.

You are only a couple days late :)

Dale brought up a great point; however, it costs money to run the AC.  Maybe $10 extra per month.  Maybe $50 extra per month.  It depends.  Anyway, a one day heatwave doesn't actually make it hot inside.  I don't think it even reached 77 in my home that day :)

Since I bought that a/c, I only ran it that day, mostly just to test it out. It's not been on one day since. And now Saturday night it's supposed to hit 30F. I haven't actually had to run my heat but I have been bundled under the covers at night.

So, you mean it wouldn't have communicated what you wanted to if you'd have copied the image and posted it instead? ;-)

Yes indeed.  Basements work even better.  I've noticed that the basement in my house (even with my garden) is still nice and cool well into May, even when the temps get hot.  That made me think a dugout greenhouse would be pretty cool (especially here, where it's sometimes frighteningly windy, like windy enough to bend a mast on which is mounted a TV antenna.)

Dig down deep enough and the temperature never really changes.

You could always buy the miles. US Airways has a special every few months where they do a "double miles for same price" special where for about $2,000 , you can get enough miles to go anywhere in the world a Star Alliance airline flies to in Business Class.

Its how I was able to make my second trip to Australia & New Zealand (South Island) in 2010 & my upcoming Thailand & New Zealand (North Island) in June & November respectively.
