The Polling Pit / Re: FSP: is bigger always better?

I voted for quantity over quality.
So... .you movin' up to NH? :P

Well, I'm contemplating it. My girlfriend and I are visintg NH in February (we're catching the last day of the Liberty Forum) to check it out. I want to live in a environment I like (geographically), but if it ends up that I don't move to NH I will still support FSP and liberty other ways (actually, the same ways with the exception of joining the FSP).

I voted for quantity over quality. In general, quality is more important. It may be in this case, as well, but I think that even if people who don't fully understand freedom join the FSP because they want their drugs to be legal or they want to pay no taxes or whatever (even if they paradoxically disagree with other tenets of libertarian views) - if these people joined FSP and helped it achieve it's goal, they will get what they want, ad so will FSP.

General / Re: The Shrine Should Be Based on Gender
« on: December 06, 2006, 11:38:20 PM »
I was under the impression that the point of the Shrine was as backup evidence that such-and-such a percentage FTL's listenership was female, for demographic statistics used for selling advertising. If so, it doesn't matter how a person *became* female, just that they *are* female.

Of course, there may be different desires (about things they like to purchase and their lifestyles) between natural women and transgendered women but, statistically, almost all advertisers don't care about that - they just want to know "how many women will listen to my ad?"

"zero" is not an option. I guess I can't vote.
