the intense racial hatreds that fester in the minds of millions of brown people
I'm guessing there's just a wee little but of hatred in the mind of the OP

Ask him and find out. And then back up your assumption with why you feel that way and have a rational discussion about it. Sure would be more interesting than the same old shit of throwing idle accusations around.

Dunno about millions, but I've met some "brown" people who didn't mind letting me know I was hated for being white.

Regarding Stephanie, on some Sunday show she & mark were discussing the Martin/Zimmerman topic. As you'd expect she jumped to the conclusion that Zimmerman is white. Mark suggested she wait to learn the facts.

I haven't tuned in since that show.. anyone know if Stephanie has addressed her mistake? Cause she may only be half wrong.. I read an article where Zimmerman is being described as "white Hispanic". heh. Gotta sneak whitey in there somewhere. If Zimmerman had been the victim at the hands of an overzealous white wannabe RoboCop he'd be 100% Hispanic.

Inhale... ahhhhh.... My goodness it's good to hear from others with solid common sense.

steelache & CertainQuirk have got it right. Unfortunately, this being the BBS that it is, that doesn't mean their input will be valued. So for those two, be prepared for the usual.. you'll be fingered as a racist in place of legitimate discussion.

Haven't listened to Saturday's show so thanks for the tip Alaric.

Two web sites does not constitute "everyone."

Saw no connection between the post and the web sites anyway.

Oh hey waterboy.

Try really really hard and you may figure out that wildly cryptic post of mine.

You're treading thin ice with me. Call me a troll again and we're gonna have trouble.

So know you are resorting to thinly veiled threads?  Please, get a grip.  I fear you are losing it :(

This is among the reasons why a number of people left the BBS.. the macho stuff.

Back in the ol' days the separation of blacks from other people was celebrated by racist whites.

Now it's celebrated by everyone.

Calling you out for being delusional is not trolling. Typing up a giant rebuttal to your stupid rambling grandiose claims is not trolling.

You are fucking delusional and I'm gonna call you out every time you say something that sounds delusional.

When you communicate like a normal person you catch no flak from me.

Get your head right. Stop making dumb propagandist claims.

Oh the irony.

Countless are the times that I expressed similar notions to defend myself of such accusations on this very BBS.

This post is not directed to you Shaw, just an observation.

It's like, we've laid out the ground rules so we can actually have intelligent discussions instead of fighting over the things we disagree on. Now let's have those discussions.

Yup.

Not really.

Bogus word filter was the point. My exposing it as bogus is the side effect.

Full on dedication to anti-bigotry would have been understandable. Half-assed attempt is just cosmetic.

Whatevah.

Valid point.

Wonder how long a Mod can get away with trollin? That'd be neat to see.

So you're OK with the harassment but you have a problem with me addressing it.

How's that line up with the NAP?

OK with you for Mods to harass, troll people (if Brasky's cartoon wasn't a troll post then what is?) and fiddle with the ban buttons at random?

So I'm supposed to just hang out and be pals with shitheads who want to keep the accusations flowing...

Nah.

Brasky can either get the balls to back up his claims or he can keep the lowbrow shit coming.

Message unclear, but at least it isn't a movie quote this time.

In my opinion he is not. I correspond with the guy on other places then this board. I don't bother to prove a negative, so I will not respond to any "yes he is." posts directed to me.
There are a lot of racist around me these days. Being a libertarian in Norway means I meet racist all the time. Actual Nazis and people who think Stalin was a swell guy, they are very in your face about it. A real racist would go insane on a board such as this one, like one of us would on a communist or Nazi one.
In my experience racist that are worth bitching about are right in your face about it. This shows it, but I have run into it IRL many times as well.
 --- Louis Theroux ---

Louis is cool. If you like his style check out Cash Peters - I really like that guy.

Stranded with Cash Peters -Siem Reap, Cambodia

I've known all sorts of skinheads - it was just part of the punk scene in the 80s. Ska dudes, Nazis, Old Glory, Hammerskins and SHARPS even.

In the interest of full disclosure, again (...I've already said this stuff here a long time ago) - I was a skinhead for awhile. But our small group wasn't really associated with any of those organized groups and we weren't Nazis. Funny & true - a group of us built a half pipe and someone painted a swastika on it, along with the other typical graffiti of the day - anarchy sign, skull&bones, etc. An older punk/biker guy who lived nearby stopped by one day and threatened to kick all our asses, by himself, right then and there if we didn't cross out the swastika. So we did. Only afterwards did he laugh at us and pointed out that we "had it backwards anyway". That was a turning point too.

Anyway, most of us were high school students. The high school I attended had a lot of racial shit going on and some of my closest and weakest friends were beaten. One of my best friends was hospitalized after being beaten by a group of black kids (none of them were ever held accountable for the semi regular beatings). That was a turning point for me and the direction I took was the skinhead scene. Interesting thing though, some of my other friends adopted the gold chain/Air Jordan/Cars That Go Boom scene. Whatevah. I was already interested in politics/anarchy from being in the punk scene and now social issues were added to the mix and so viola here we are today.

I mention all that shit to make the point that I could have stayed in the skinhead scene and become full blown Nazi if I wanted to. I didn't avoid the scene because I was scared of it or ignorant of what it was about but instead for specific reasons: 1) it never made sense to hate someone based on skin color and 2) I had friends who were black and/or gay 3) I became annoyed with the competitiveness in proving who was "more white" than someone else 4) a lot of those groups are way too fascist or "Christian Identity" for me. So - there were reasons for joining up and there was a thought process before dropping out - I wasn't just putting my toe in to test the water I was trying to find the right way to deal with it.

This sounds like an ultimatum, so I'll answer it.  My opinion is unchanged.

I thank you for this and wish others would chime in if they share your opinion so the issue can be settled.

Not an ultimatum really. I'm happy to talk about the issues if it's a legit discussion. All I'm saying is that future accusations will not result in a two way dialogue, it'll be harassment.

<really long post>

I'm satisfied with that response.

Whew!!

Can we go back to posting pics of dudes with DeWalt drills in their assholes now?  :P

Definitely this.

Quote
One of the things Hellbilly apparently said was, "There is a disproportionate amount of violence coming from black people on a per capita basis, including upon other black people."

How the fuck is that "pretty overtly racist?" Seriously, can people not even state the facts without being labeled a racist? I went to the FBI's website and looked at the statistics from 2010 and the above statement is most definitely true.

Oh, I know it's true. What I was trying to get to is what is his point when he brings it up. Usually when someone brings up something like that, it's to present it as evidence that black people are inherently violent or some shit. That's what a statement like that is going to conjure if it's out of context. But as I said, I'm satisfied with his response personally. I don't feel like he dodged the questions.

Thanks for the nod Tom.

Unless I'm mistaken, this whole community is supposed to be centered on improving our personal lives through liberty. Social factors intersect that goal in all sorts of ways so it makes sense to talk about it. The main point is to expose how stupid it is to shy away from this taboo (being openly critical of failing individuals) that shouldn't even exist. Bad people are bad people, ethnicity/gender/sexual orientation/whatever the buzzword of the day doesn't matter.

There's just no taboo in it for me. If someone's feelings are hurt over reality, fuck em. If it makes a person that sad then they should do something to really affect change - cause name calling isn't gonna help.

Does this thread ending indicate a consensus has been reached? If anyone has any reservations about the whole deal, actually about me, I wish they'd get the balls to bring it up now. The accusations have gone on way too long.
