The Show / FTL growth over time?
« on: October 24, 2011, 02:27:56 AM »
Does someone happen to have data on FTL's radio station growth over time, going back to the beginning (or whenever)? A cute graph to look at would be nice.

The Polling Pit / Which hand do you masturbate with most frequently?

Answer the poll.

Then ponder this: Why do right handed people masturbate with their left hands?

General / Homeland Stupidity nominated for Weblog Award
« on: December 08, 2006, 02:55:08 AM »
Homeland Stupidity has been nominated for an award in the 2006 Weblog Awards. Vote for Homeland Stupidity today!

Apparently one of my faithful readers nominated Homeland Stupidity, because I certainly didn't. Thank you, whoever you are!

This is the fourth year for the Weblog Awards, which let people vote for the best blogs at the end of each year. This year there are 45 categories of blogs to vote for.

Homeland Stupidity is a nominee in the Best Centrist Blog category. I of course have a minor quibble about the term centrist, since this is a libertarian blog, but since Homeland Stupidity wasn't in the running at all last year, I won't complain too much.

If you haven't already, please go vote for Homeland Stupidity. Thanks again!

General / District of Columbia Personal Protection Act
« on: February 19, 2006, 05:14:02 AM »
Look what I found sitting in a Congressional committee while engaged in a search for something else entirely.

District of Columbia Personal Protection Act - To restore Second Amendment rights in the District of Columbia.

They just came right out and said it: Not only do guns in the hands of honest people prevent crime, but the local gun bans are unconstitutional.

Now to see if they actually pass the thing this time around.
