General / Government by lottery.
« on: October 11, 2010, 10:06:45 PM »
What would happen if people eligible for jury duty were also drawn out of a hat and they were the ones elected to government?

You could even make a reality tv show out of it every 4 years

If your number was picked and you didnt want to do it the position would be redrawn.

How would this be any worse than what we have now?

General / Targeted by the local council.
« on: October 08, 2010, 10:33:18 PM »
The other day I went to the landfill to empty the truck I drive as part of my usual work week. As I finished backing up to the pile one of the workers reversed their dozer into the truck and then the crap hit the fan so to speak. The dozer driver assaulted me by pushing me to the ground then threatening to find me while not at work and "take care of me". This was all witnessed by a fellow truck driver and other council workers. Now the story that came out is totally different and they have all closed ranks which is really no surprise and I am copping the blame for it.

So today I am out of a job after the council threatened my boss with withdrawing his contract if I wasnt sacked. Now I cant afford my mortgage and the prospect of finding another job is slim. Basically there is nothing I can do and now I live in fear of repercussions from the council. I reported the assault to the police and was told to "report it to the council". WTF?

Im thinking of going to the state member for our area but dont hold any hope that there will be any benefit to doing so. I think if I do suddenly we will start getting "inspections" by the council of our house, garbage bins or a sudden raise in the evaluation price of our house which makes things harder for us than they already are by increasing our rates...

General / Can you buy this?
« on: September 17, 2010, 10:02:04 PM »
    * A spy watch or other jewelry with:
    * battery life and storage to record audio for 24 hrs OR
    * battery life and storage to record video for 12 hrs
    * all recordings are encrypted

This device would record your entire life and encrypt it. Optionally uploading to the internet with the press of a button.A phone isnt as good as a piece of jewellery such as a watch which is actually strapped to you. When are the cops allowed to remove something that is actually attached to you?

General / What would you pay to kill spam?
« on: September 17, 2010, 09:26:34 PM »
If there was a way to destroy most of the spam on the internet on forums, twitter, blogs and email what would it be worth to you each month?

In b4 you cant stop spammers.

The most valuable asset we have is time.Forcing you to read spam is actually time theft so what is your time worth?

I have a project and I need the help of like minded people. I will try to be brief.
I have recorded an anti-government protest song. The style is country-rock, and the song is pretty direct.
I need people to request it on radio stations.
My goals are-
1. The short answer is, I want to influence the mass psychology of the entire nation. I want politicians and their staff to hear it and recognize that
We the People do not like what they are doing, and I want all other government employees to hear it and recognize that they are NOT just ordinary Americans trying to earn a living, they are on the wrong side and we do not like what they are doing either.
If you want to read the long answer click here
This is not about my music career. I do not have a music career. It is a hobby. I work hard and am taxed and regulated to death too.
The Plan-
1. I send copies of the song to country radio stations, state by state. Generally speaking, they are not going to play it.
2. Set up a web page for each state with a list of all radio stations that have the song, along with links to their request pages,
and e-mail addresses for Program Directors and requests.
3. Try to get people to request the song. The song title is "My Country, My Ass" (I said it was direct) by John Ringer.

« on: September 07, 2010, 06:35:04 AM »
...when the government wants to register them or put them in camps because of "terrorism" ?

I've heard rumors that there are people calling for these things so it seems no one learnt anything from the holocaust. Its like watching a slow motion train crash in progress that you are incapable of stopping.

General / What would happen....the thug defence tactical edition.
« on: September 06, 2010, 11:07:46 PM »
If the police pulled up in their cars where there was a group of protesters ie 420 celebrations and went to arrest a non violent individual and 1 or two people sat in the empty police car and locked the doors?

What if at the same time there was a police radio jammer turned on so that the police couldn't call for back-up?

What kind of shitstorm would ensue and what would the charges be? Do you think they would smash the car windows?

If you had some supplies in a backpack you could theoretically sit in the car non violently or even chain yourself to the seat to prevent them driving away .

General / Solutions to copyright trolling?

Borrowing a page from patent trolls, the CEO of fledgling Las Vegas-based Righthaven has begun buying out the copyrights to newspaper content for the sole purpose of suing blogs and websites that re-post those articles without permission. And he says he’s making money.

“We believe it’s the best solution out there,” Gibson says. “Media companies’ assets are very much their copyrights. These companies need to understand and appreciate that those assets have value more than merely the present advertising revenues.”

Free Talk Live could potentially face being sued out of business because we put links on their home page?

These guys are going after libertarian and patriot sites especially.Alex Jones is also being sued by these slimeballs using the state to shakedown free speech. The douchebag running this operation went to the same intellectual property law firm as Michelle Obama and now is using the state to target people.

General / How thorium could wean the world off Oil within 5 years

So why haven’t you heard more about thorium power? After all, thorium is already widely used for industrial applications such as welding and lending physical strength to magnesium. And its potential use as a fuel for nuclear reactors has been understood for half a century, as Wired reports: in 1958, nuclear scientist Alvin Weinberg, then-director of the US military’s Oak Ridge National Lab published a nearly 1000-page summary of research into thorium-fueled power.

Despite its theoretical advantages over uranium, however, Weinberg’s advocacy of thorium for nuclear reactors fell onto deaf ears as Cold War-era governments jumped onto the uranium bandwagon. The reason, Wired tells us, is that politicians were just as interested in the weapons-grade plutonium-239 that the process produced. By the time Weinberg left Oak Ridge in 1973, research into thorium-powered nuclear reactors had all but disappeared.

Of course the state would rather blow things up than produce abundant energy for everyone  :(

General / Public hospital fail.
« on: August 26, 2010, 09:27:11 AM »
My wife has been in hospital for the past week after having surgery. This was supposed to be a 1 day thing and she would be home. They stuffed up and some of her tubes came out and it was back into the operating theatre to replace them. They released her yesterday after saying she was ok and last night I had to rush her back to hospital because she became sick again during the night. She then had another operation because they missed an obvious problem showing on her ct scans which they never picked up on.So now she has to be sent to a hospital in the nearest big city which is a 3 hour drive away. She wont be home for at least 3 more days after that so Ive had to take 2 weeks unpaid leave from work to care for our kids.
If these people stuff up there is nothing I can do about it.No doubt their mistakes will be swept under the carpet and the system will protect the ones responsible.
