But really, a homosexual portraying a God-fearing man? Hmm.

RP's actually pretty decent on gay issues. He's changed a couple of his viewpoints recently given new information lik on DADT. He's not a close-minded man.

The rights of the husband are necessary because there is a responsibility upon the husband.
too

Therein lies the problem. Anyone who is pro-choice presumably believes a parent can absolve themselves of any responsibility to the potential child. By their reasoning, men should be able to have abortions too. It's a much simpler procedue. He just signs three copies of a document, one for him, one for her, and one with a third party arbitrator that says "I resolve myself of all rights to and responsibility for said child" and walks away. The child is now legally dead to him and he has no hopes of even getting visitation rights.

I in fact do believe parents should be able to absolve themselves of responsibility and allow charitable people or organizations to take over care for a child. Whether a particular act of abortion is murder seems to depend on the viability of the fetus, but I suppose I'm technically pro-choice because I don't think the government should get involved. But then I don't think the government should get involved in anything. *shrug*

From the types of threads that are popping up lately, I can tell what's on your minds here.

The purple ones are so cool.

This is funnier taken out of context.

While I was in L.A. I dated way more chinks and beaners than honkeys or crackers and developed something of a preference. I also voted prairie niggers cause some of my nieces and nephews are 1/4 P.N. and they're just the awesomest kids.

The worst thing I ever did drunk was dance on a table, but I was fully clothed.

The worst thing I did while drunk was talk in a really thick British accent. I was dressed as Patsy Stone from Absolutely Fabulous* and was doing the accent anyway, but everyone says my accent got REALLY good as I got drunker and drunker.

*It was a Halloween party.

Maybe there's another thread on this. If so, sorry for double-posting, but it seemed relevant. Here's the video of porcupine Dave being unlawfully detained for open carry in Manchester.

Nobody wanted to fuck Barry White and nobody wants to fuck this guy.

This guy's better looking than Barry White.

Don't know if this is hot. I'm kind of worried that I'm posting this.

Oh, for the days when reasonable men resolved their disputes with logical discussion instead of violence.

The Polling Pit / Re: Which FTL host do you agree with more often?
« on: July 25, 2007, 10:56:13 AM »
One time Ian said something along the lines of "advocate the goal then accept the compromise, don't advocate the compromise because then you're likly to get a compromised version of the compromise."
I believe this applies to minarchism versus free-marketerism debate. We go to minarchism then see if we can go any farther.

And what if the belief that government is a necessity runs counter to the goal of shrinking government?
