The Show / For Ian

Because he probably won't ever see it where it was posted.

I looked at the "affiliates" page again and now it's at 81...  so I thought I'd click on some of them (I don't have the time to click on them all).  I found two out of the top 12 that are out-of-date or they have not updated their web sites because they don't list "Freetalk Live" as part of their programming. WWPR shows "open" and WDNG shows "Tammy Bruce" in the slot that is supposedly FTL.  WBHP is shown 3 times because they simulcast on 3 frequencies.  WPBH just does not show anything on the schedule where FTL is supposed to be.  Maybe they are trying to hide the show from their listeners.  If I had time to spare, I might try listening to their stream on sat to see if they are on or not, but I won't...

I only checked the first 12, who knows what I would find if I spent the time to check them all, but it's obvious that the number 81 is inflated.  The old saw is "figures don't lie, but liers sure can figure..."

General / Help me name the gay podcast
« on: October 19, 2010, 09:32:04 AM »
A 2 hour weekly live call-in podcast with 2 hardcore libertarians and a variable 3rd chair guest discussing subjects of particular interest to gay, lesbian, bi, and transexual folks.  I have stopped describing it as GLBT issues from a libertarian perspective because "issues" sounds too political and serious, and though we will certainly venture into the realm of serious, we won't stay there.  For instance, we may talk about sex, relationships, or how so many movies with an LGBT target audience tend to suck.

Fairly extensive discussion has been had here and I've found the feedback very useful:

High in the running IMO are:

Freedom is Fabulous
Don't Tread on LGBT
LGBT and Free

Obama administration appeals gay marriage ruling
On a related note, I will posit why allowing gay marriage is not an expansion of government.  It's actually a reduction in government.

General / Gay Zombie Porn
« on: July 25, 2010, 10:22:43 PM »
Otto; or, Up With Dead People

Gay zombie movie with a few snippets of real porn.  There's a scene where a guy eats some of another guy's guts and then fucks the hole he just made after the guy wakes up as a zombie.  I think he was wearing a condom which is... uhm.  It's campy and pokes fun at artsy movies even though it kinda is one.  It's also a movie within a movie which is kind of annoying.  NR (Not Rated), of course.

Available for instant streaming on Netflix.

The Show / The Manwich Thong
« on: July 11, 2010, 02:05:50 PM »
Someone finally bought one.  A while back, there was a thread where several people said they would love to buy t-shirts with this Manwich design and I promptly made a section in the store and no one bought anything.

General / Cute FtMs
« on: April 02, 2010, 02:32:03 PM »
I've discovered several FtMs (female to male trans-sexuals) on YouTube who seem like cute boys.  Unfortunately (for me), most are into girls, but not all.  I've talked to one before and we were talking about meeting up but he wasn't close and have since lost touch.  I'm kind of surprised that they need to make such big scars to remove the breasts.  Seems like it would be more advanced than that by now.  But it's no big deal.

General / Weapons for the Poor
« on: July 20, 2007, 03:07:26 PM »
I just had an idea that I wanted to express before I forget it. Is there a charity that raises money and volunteers to provide training and weapons to the poor? If not, can we start something like that in NH? A lot of gun laws seem designed to make weapons more expensive and difficult for lower class people to obtain. It would be a good measure for lowering crime in impoverished neighborhoods and I think it would be good PR for the right to bear arms. It shows that we don't just want weapons for ourselves, but that we want power to be distributed amongst the people rather than centralized amongst the elite.
