Do you not think what they do with the show isn't helping the movement?  Sometimes we must do things we don't like for the sake of being able to continue to spread the message, like paying taxes and in the case of FTL, being on FCC stations.  I'll agree with you on the voting, but sometimes I do break that myself to vote against tax increases and anything else that would create a more, intrusive government.

Every day I delete a campaign for liberty email requesting money without ever opening the email.  Close to marking it as SPAM.
Every month I throw away a letter begging for money from the campaign for liberty.

I gotta admit, their envelopes are kinda cool and all.
But, why don't they get that me donating to to Ron Paul in 2008, does not mean I will be giving politico's my money in 2010?

Honestly the mail and email isnt what bothers me, its the damn phone calls.  At least once a week I get a call about donating to Rand Paul...no thanks!

I haven't bumped enough threads this week, so I'll just pick one at random.

An interesting thread to bump considering all of the drama between Jones and the local Austin activists, most notably Jack Blood.

For those who don't know, Jack Blood was Alex's right hand man for a few years.  Two days ago Jack finally broke his silence about his work with Alex, and the multiple shady things hes done (allowing his name to be forged on collectors edition DVDs, going to strip clubs as a married man, getting piss drunk and threatening to beat people up, etc) because Jones went after Debra Medina, who Blood is friends with.

Thats a great idea.  Currently I'm saving up to make the move myself.  I didn't want to move out there a couple of months ago, but a lot has changed and I am really stoked to do it now.  I'm shooting for July (right after PorcFest), but it may take a bit longer to save up the 15k I want to have before I go...

I probably have friends in common with almost all of you at this point on there lol, there are quite a few people that go around searching for voluntaryists/etc and befriending them at random (some could be feds, but whatever).

Currently I have 1,233 friends...yes I'm a friend whore, but I use that awesome list feature so most people can't see the personal crap I send out (though I sometimes slip up on that...)
