Yah... That's really disturbing. Hope they didn't all get thrown in jail or something.

I'm not 100 % positive, but I'm guessing this is the guy from a few nights ago that called into the show about a friend scanned a bunch of Mason stuff.
I think he said that he had emails of all of the scans or somethingoranother and Ian suggested that he post them on the BBS and see if anyone is interested.

The Show / Re: Libertarianism and Religion
« on: February 20, 2009, 12:38:52 AM »
The WWJD crowd would all be libertarian if they were consistent, Jesus never initiated force on anyone nor did he recommend anyone else do so.  That's in contrast to the organized Christian religions that aren't about being christlike at all.  That's the ultimate irony about Christianity, I don't think Jesus would have anything to do with it.

I think you're right on that ^

Keely, Chico is a cutie. I'm not a little dog person, but my mother would swoon over him.

----

Elise, are those cargo pockets on the doggie sweaters? Do your dogs carry snacks, in case of emergency?

Um... Yeah.
I had the dumb idea to put dog treats in their pockets, just to see what they would do. They ignored them until I left them alone and chewed them to bits. They no longer have those jackets :-P

And I agree - Chico is a sweetheart :D he looks spoiled rotten though!

I have a bird too, but she's not as much fun as the dogs :-)

What about IRobot? I just watched it the other day, and honestly... I never got the underlying message the first time I watched it, but this time, it was kind of flooring.

General / Re: Discussing Alinsky
« on: October 13, 2008, 06:42:39 AM »
Good morning everyone! I just read through Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals and found it quite informative and even entertaining. I especially liked the part about occupying the bathrooms in an airport (though impossible with today's security restrictions) and the bean-inspired symphony. I'm curious as to other's opinions on Alinsky's methods and goals as laid out in this book and any other ideas he has put forth. "Further reading" suggestions are also highly appreciated.

Ryan

Wasn't Alinsky more of a commie radical?

This is a hard one to choose from.
I chose Arm's dealing because that's technically protected by our Constitution, and it shouldn't be illegal in the first place, well.. I guess neither should the others except in the case where it takes another human life (euthenasia, abortion). I mean, if a person wants to kill themselves, that's fine by me, although sad. But no one should make that decision for them.

All the tiffs between my gf and I occur in stages.. that just so happen to encompass approximately two weeks in a row. She has PMS1 first (Pre Menstrual..) and I kid her about having PMS2 next (Post Menstrual). It was worse when she wasn't on the pill.. she was unbearable.

Plus, isn't the pill also responsible for acne, sore breasts and higher chances of cervical cancer?

Actually... I noticed that my acne was largely at bay whilst on the pill.
I thought it was the weather! Lol!
I look like a teenager again. :-(
Guess the pill does have SOME benefits.

Are you kidding?  It's GIVING me acne.  I'm really not happy, but I know I need to take it.  I'm going to talk to my doctor about it, and see if a different pill will help.

Hmmm... I was on Loestrin. You might try it. I had no acne while on it... but no orgasm either.
You might fare better since everyone is different :-)

I thought the pill sometimes enhanced the sex drive for the ladies..?

If it exists, any increase in desire is likely largely due to the drop in the fear of pregnancy. Most women I know on the pill have either noticed no increase in desire, or a decrease. Sometimes, the decrease is substantial. Even if there isn't a decrease in desire, there are often mild headaches, nausea, and breast pain - which can lead to a general decrease in the desire to do anything at all, not just of a sexual nature.

Yes. Women do actually discuss these things. In detail. God help me, I wish we wouldn't.

No kidding... After I got off the pill and we first started TTC, I've noticed that sex is a LOT better. Trust me, it's the pill. My body does things it didn't used too and WOW...
I'm never taking another BC pill AGAIN!

I've only ever fucked one person, my second boyfriend. The first was a fag that didn't even want to hold hands.

Our commitment date was official on November 23'rd, our state marriage date: December 22.

The Polling Pit / Re: Jessica Biel vs. Megan Fox?
« on: September 30, 2008, 01:27:54 PM »
I'm partial to Michelle Ryan (Bionic Woman, Cashback, Jekyll)

and Emilie de Ravin (Roswell, CSI: Miami, LOST)

Maybe I'm just fond of accents... but especially Australian ones...

Accents are hot.
The top one is hot, the second one... cute...
My hubby hates it when I judge female beauty (He says a girl can't properly judge it) Whatever...

Anyways, I was rooting for Jessica Biel. I think she's totally sexy for some reason.
However, that pic of Megan Fox is TOTALLY hot.
I think it's been photoshopped to death. If not, I'd do her, but Biel's my girl. Lol!
