http://www.roadtripusa.com/routes/southernpacific/southernpacific.html

This is the website my friends and I use when we plan roadtrips around the country.

Oooh, thank you. That looks really useful.

AAA has apps out there which are great on the road. It's not just the map & directions - also has options to turn on nearby hotels, restaurants, etc with ratings & links all from the same screen.

Sounds lovely, but while I have an AAA membership, I have neither smartphone nor iPod touch nor iPad.  Maybe someday....

It's looking like Jackson MI will be the overnight point, but I might stop at few places before and after to stretch my legs and look at things, and maybe scope out one of those BBQ places for lunch.

I'm driving from Dallas to Atlanta next week.  It's an estimated 13 hour drive and since I don't like driving for that long at a stretch, thought I'd stop somewhere in between and look around and spend the night.  Any recommendations?  My experience of traveling in that part of the country is zero, and I'm planning to take I-20 all of the way.

Those guys who are green and get you in the sunlight are called "creepers" and they're scary as hell when you're working and all of a sudden you get blown up by one that snuck up on you. Sssssssssssssssssss...BOOM! I build all my buildings with them specifically in mind.

Anybody tried Borderlands?

It's not really my style, but my friends who have played LOVE it.

Games I'm enjoying for XBox 360 that aren't first-person shooters-- Red Dead Redemption, Civilization Revolution, DeathSpank, Puzzle Quest 2, Super Street Fighter IV (I suck at it, but it's hilarious) and probably soon Fable 3.  I have Burnout Paradise because I liked Burnout 3 for the Xbox so much before, but haven't tried it yet.

Fallout New Vegas came today.  It's technically an RPG but it's way too FPS-ish to me so I'm not really interested in playing it.

Seriously though, Minecraft looks interesting, I just haven't been able to do much other than pick up flowers and throw them.  And get stuck in ditches. With no way out.  And watch it get dark.  And then quit the game and restart only to do the same exact fucking thing.

Don't Tread on LGBT

I like that one.  I like the idea too, and will definitely tune in and encourage a lesbian libertarian-leaning friend of mine to check it out as well.  Also, your Facebook link isn't working-- it goes to a "content not found" error.

My completely average breasts spend most of their time smashed flat in sports bras, dreaming of looking like yours. (I however, am torn, as I'd like to have the lovely large breasts but wouldn't ever want to try and run 10-25 miles with them.)

You could try swimming instead.  I suspect it wasn't a coincidence that the girl on our high school swim team with enormous breasts was also the best at backstroke.  If she'd been taking performance enhancement drugs she would've been booted off in the heartbeat, but built-in flotation devices weren't a problem at all.

I dance on the boundary between C and D.  No photos will be forthcoming.

Cheating is a big deal, but I think it's silly to assume it has to mean the end of the relationship.

Depends on whether the injured party is willing to put up with that shit, I suppose.

Well, yeah-- if injured parties weren't ever willing to put up with any shit, there would be no relationships.  *shrug*

If the sex is really good, go back with her for some fun but thats about it, keeping in mind that it wont last.

Dont marry this one though.

Meh.  Chances are good that whoever you have a long-term relationship with, much less marry, will cheat on you at least once.  If they want the relationship to end, they'll either tell you or be sloppy about it so you find out.  If they don't, you'll probably never know unless you're freakishly paranoid or they're dumb enough to get pregnant, get someone else pregnant, or give you an STD, in which case that's a good reason to break up with them.

What does the Constitution have to do with it?

Last night I watched "Starz Inside: Fantastic Flesh: The Art of Make-Up EFX" on Netflix.  It's an hour-long documentary about movie make-up and effects, mostly from horror movies but not entirely.  LOVED it.  Might watch it again tonight.  Talking heads include  Howard Berger, Rob Bottin, Dick Smith, John Carpenter, Wes Craven, Joe Dante, Quentin Tarantino, Eli Roth, Robert Rodriguez, John Landis, Richard Roeper, Mick Garris, Josh Brolin, Simon Pegg, Frank Darabont, Jordan Ladd, Gregory Nicotero, Dee Wallace, Tom Savini, George A. Romero.
