Working is a scam. The entire economy is based on the exploitation of workers. Communism is prolly even worse when it comes to exploiting workers.

Everybody should go on welfare.

Working is bullshit. Most of the time, you cannot even afford to buy something nice, or spend some quality time to work on projects that one is actually interested in. What a waste of life.

Working is against the basic principals of existence.

To make it worse, you have a bunch of power-tripping employers and human resource workers to deal with -- Rape them in the ass.

The slave has to rape the master in the ass.

So-called "voluntary working contracts" are mostly bullshit.

Rape the master in the ass.

you should study Austrian economics.  Try the Mises institute

I'm not going to "study" it, but I know enough about it. Most of those anarcho-capitalist writers at Mises don't even believe their own shit....these dudes like Rockwell (and what not), just want to exploit others for profit, without having to deal with the cops coming after them.

Who wants to exploit who and how do they want to do it?

Hans-Hermann Hoppe even says that ANCAP is bullshit in one of his youtube videos. He basically says that ANCAP cannot be a permanent thing and would just lead to a formation of a government, and then back to ANCAP....and the cycle would repeat itself.

Interesting.  Can you point me in the way of the video?  Even if he's right, it'd be worth a shot.

There is nothing in the "Free Market" that would solve the ongoing battle of the "Class Wars". Rothbard is also in a youtube video with this stupid smile on his face, claiming that outsourcing work to the turd-worlders is a great way to "raise their standard of living" (as if Rothbard gives a shit about poor peoples' standard of living).

What a joke.

It's not about what he cares about or what you care about.  It's about economic reality.  Free trade helps poor people the most.

Why are educational institutions encouraging the less jaded people to get diplomas? Out of 10 International Relations graduates, how many of them actually get a job in their related fields? My guess is few.

Education is bullshit, and a big giant scam. Back not that long ago, you could become a lawyer by just taking a few night-courses....but now...if you want to become a barber, you will have to take a 10 year program just to learn how to get the grease off the comb.

Agreed.  So people should learn how to exploit the inefficiency in the market.

Quote
Smarmy employers will then give you a hard time for having NO education...for having TOO MUCH education...and also.... for NOT HAVING ENOUGH education.

So screw them.

No.  Or better yet, become your own master.

What if people really do need to be centrally managed and controlled?

It seems merely being entertained is enough to get the job done.

It's been a long time since anyone has had that reality. Not sure anyone truly comprehends it.

I think any type of government could work, if not for the Dunce Next Door. "The Government" is such an easy target for blame, for anything, but the DND is responsible for electing the trash and then doing nothing while getting fucked over. The DND is the one who goes about their way without a care for where things are headed, either leeching from others or being leeched from. The DND is happiest when shopping or otherwise being pacified.

With a citizenship like that- can you blame the elected officials for doing what they do?

How can a government ever work?  It has no incentive to do so.

Only with an intelligent & responsible populace. The end result of which would be a needless and ineffective government, of any type.

And an intelligent and responsible populace wouldn't subject others to a government.

Wrong. A government doesn't work WELL. It works, but only enough to maintain its position. Read Machiavelli.

Well yeah, that's what I meant.

Why hasn't someone figured out a better alternative to this routine yet? It's been a long time since I sat in rush hour traffic.. can't understand why anyone does.

If someone in India or Africa can do your job a tinny bit better or cheaper, then they deserve to take it instead.

Dunno about all that.. I'm being undercut by people in my own town. They're cheaper, some may be better. My choices are to find other clients willing to pay what I charge, do the same quality work for less (both of which I'm doing) - or do cheaper quality work for the same or less. If I choose the latter, it doesn't go well with having good material for the portfolio- then business sinks.

I guess I also have the choice of moving my family into a shanty, possibly share it with a few other families, and earn enough to feed us all rice- all in order to undercut the prices of those pesky neighbors crowding in on my turf.

Well, what's the alternative?

Yeah, and New Hampshire is still at the bottom of the list.

yeah and you still didn't comprehend a simple chart with obvious flaws.

The list seemed to have to do with a family of four trying to get by in New Hampshire. Just because not everyone wants to live in your winter wasteland . . .

did you completely read the chart?

yes

then why are you asserting that NH's place on the list means anything?  It's painfully obvious to anyone who read the chart that it is flawed and bogus.

No. I'm saying that they were unethical and the government set themselves up to be taken advantage of this way. That shit won't fly in a free market.

What makes you so sure there won't be any unethical corporations in a free market? (which, face it, the USA is among the most economically free countries on Earth, we've got it here)

as easily as the monopoly we have now?  How would that work exactly?

no sane person would say there wouldn't be.  A free market is much more preferable than the unethical monpoly that is the government, though.

except a corporation or a group of corporations forming a cartel could easily get the same amount of power a de facto government could have.

and then use guns to make sure you couldn't leave.

And after a while the voluntary agreements will turn into force.

That's how feudalism started.

and what do we have now?

Not feudalism, unless you can show me the law on American books that tell me the differences between a slave, a serf, a villein, a freeman, a priest, a count, a duke, an earl, and a king.

are you implying that we're not slaves now?

Yes, unless you can specifically point out the law that says that "such-and-such" is a slave.

Also please point out the local slave auctions. I might need to buy a big buck to keep around the house to fix things, as well as a svelte octoroon to keep for lovin'.

ifi don't pay my taxes what happens to me?  I'm clearly a slave.

The Western European countries are socialist, and those countries are among those with the highest standards of living in the world.

Therefore, it has worked for them.

But isn't NH the freest place in the US?  And doesn't it have about the highest standard of living in the US?  So didn't it work for us?

did you actually read the chart to find out why?

http://isteve.blogspot.com/2005/05/standard-of-living-by-state.html

Hahaha, look at that, NH is last on the list.
