Photoshops / The Hardy Boys
« on: February 02, 2009, 03:26:02 PM »
Given that I stumbled across a recent Hardy Boys book which
indoctrinates kids into accepting the government surveillance society...

I say, fuck 'em.
'Shop 'em up!
Here's some prime material:

Last Day to Join the Susette Kelo Liberty Club
Three years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that my little pink cottage in New London, Connecticut, could be handed over to a private developer.
It was just one of 10,000 instances of eminent domain abuse to occur in the United States over a 5-year period.
Just one instance—yet a tipping point that sparked a national revolution.
10,000 Advocates
On this, the third anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s dreadful decision, I’m asking for 10,000 people to join me in donating to the non-profit legal foundation that stood by me all the way to the Supreme Court, and continues to stand by heroic individuals fighting to keep the homes that are rightfully theirs.
Eminent domain abuse continues coast-to-coast! Despite tremendous gains in state courts and state legislatures since the Supreme Court’s ruling, eminent domain abuse is still rampant. Click on the links below to read more.
Fund the Fight Against Eminent Domain Abuse
By donating to the Institute for Justice on the anniversary of the ruling—June 23, 2008—you will become a Founding Member of the Susette Kelo Liberty Club.
Every single dollar raised during this special event will be used to fight eminent domain abuse across the nation.
And while all donations are appreciated, I hope you’ll consider giving your most generous gift of $25, $50, $100, or more. Even a $5 contribution will send a message to those in power that our homes are important to us and must be protected.
With your help, the Institute for Justice will continue to keep tax-hungry politicians and land-hungry developers from taking our private property.
Donate today and enlist your family and friends, also.
Yours in Freedom,
Susette Kelo

Go to OfficeMax and buy a brochure display. They've got officially printed Ron Paul campaign literature now that fits in one. (Although, I believe they're being distributed only to regional campaign managers. Get with your local Ron Paul Meetup group, and hopefully they'll have some.
Or get the business card holders and buy some Ron Paul cards.

If tanks were to roll into New Hampshire and our militias defeated, /Move to Lýðveldið Ísland.
And no, I wouldn't give my sanction to any of those bastards.

General / Wikipedia entries

The wikipedia article on the FSP needs sections on PorcFest and the New Hampshire Liberty Forum.
Also, I added the vertical promo banner on the Liberty Forum entry, but it was deleted because it was under an "unfree" licence, even though I provided documentation and e-mail communication. If someone would like to deal with the rights to the banner, that'd be great.
Oh and, don't you just hate Wikipedia editors? They're always such anal-retentives on powertrips. They deleted my article on the Republic of New Hampshire too, even though there are dozens of others listed in their Category:Secession in the United States. (By the way, the FSP is listed in that category, even though we're officially non-secessionist!)

The Polling Pit / Re: Underwear
« on: May 02, 2007, 10:09:37 AM »
The problem with not wearing underwear is that the glans is an internal organ. So if you've been genitally mutilated, you're further desensitising it.

There's a fora devoted entirely to polls, and the underwear question hasn't yet been asked?!

The owner of that site should really promote it more. I could see it catching on in a big way.
Now that I'm a Liberty Associate, I'll be poking around more often.

The pledge is complete! Although, we shouldn't stop now, as PledgeBank may decide to delete a few more signups.
I posted it over at digg:

There isn't a "from Ian Himself" option, so I chose "from a friend."

General / FTL Web Badge
« on: May 23, 2006, 10:42:15 PM »
I didn't know if it had been done before, but I wanted an FTL badge for my own websites. So I made one, and definitely thought I should share.
Enjoy.

P.S.: If you do use it, please host the image yourself instead of leeching. Thanks.

They have to be required to provide you with something, right? Let us know how it goes.
Bwahahaha!
Then I'll ask them (very politely) if I can get them in Braille so my blind friend can read them....
Bwahahaha!

General / Re: Porcfest 2006
« on: March 02, 2006, 11:03:54 AM »Back to the topic, I e-mailed Poker Face (A very pro freedom(r) band) about this, and asked if they are going to go to this year's festivities, as (I think) all of them are members of the FSP.
I recently checked out the streaming samples of their music on the website. Hell yes. I'd love to buy their CDs, and I will sooner or later, but $17.99? That's very steep for a CD these days.
