My latest status update.

If you guys really want to convince the average NH voters that Ron Paul is actually a viable candidate for them and not just for the "winger" types, you need to up your enthusiasm and passion. People on horseback carrying a huge yellow flag with an obscure culty-looking symbol with a snake on it just isn't attn-getting enough. You need to to hoot and hollar while firing guns into the air. You need a blimp flashing his name. You need people to know you're so passionate about Ron Paul that you'd do things normally reserved for people with borderline personality disorders. Look, I'm trying to give you some basics on communication skills here. Are you paying attn? Now get off yer duffs and raise the energy levels out there. There's only a few days left and this is the last chance to save 'murica!!

I heard you voted today, Dale. This one's for you, buddy!

To be fair, I drove him to the polling station and refused to leave until he voted.

When 500 people each owe you $100, you use a collection agency. When one person owes you $50k, you take care of it yourself.
Why? and How? If you don't mind, I really have wondered about this sort of thing, and I thought you were closer to the answer then me.

Collection agencies face mountains of legal barriers that you as the creditor do not have. We have only very specific things that we can say to only very specific people. The only advantage we have is the technology to locate and contact massive numbers of people at very low cost. Just as an example, if I were to post a message on Coconut's behalf such as he posted for himself, I would be doing time. The closest thing we can do would be to report to the credit bureaus, and anyone can do that for themself.

If you are willing to use legal violence, you can always get a judgment through the court system and then file to garnish wages or place property leins. Don't even need an attorney for that.

So not as bad as the john r part of detroit where "the roof has a new tarp covering it, bought in 2010" is considered a property feature?

Naw, what I'm describing is say, the area just East of Fairlane mall.

For a Michigander, I'd specifically tell them that Manchester is like being just North of Michigan Avenue between Greefield and Schaefer. Just shitty old tract housing and dudes wearing too much gold and sitting on the hoods of their 1988 Z-Rock Cameros listening to WRIF.

The only difference is that in Manchester it's a white guy rather than a middle eastern dude. And maybe less gold.

In NH, we bury our gold in the back yard, yo.

Ron knocked it out of the park last night. Had to change my shorts three times.

Maybe you can take over the KKK to eliminate lynchings. I've taken over several organizations and businesses for the expressed purpose of changing the way they do things. Sometimes it works better than others. It is rare, however, for the effects to last long after the changer goes away. That's what worries me about the Ron Paul thing. I don't see anyone credible waiting to pick up the torch when he sets it down. Maybe Napolitano?

Ambulances routinely provide services to folks in emergencies without preexisting contracts. They worry about collecting fees afterward.

I hate to dispose of all my anarchist cred, but I can't help it. Ron Paul gets me moist.

I feel that their support of FTL negates their support of the NRA.

Keep in mind that aside from their shady lobbying wing, the NRA is far and away the best source of firearm safety information and training. Plus, their indoor range is freaking PIMP.

« on: November 16, 2011, 04:57:34 PM »

Ultimately, it takes money and employees.  And throughout the E-cig market, there is cheap knock-off products - whether they be batteries that release noxious fumes when they reach their lifes end, or ingredients in the pre-filled Chinese cartos like raw-lead solder or damaging solvents.  Thats one of the reasons people bitch so hard about "Chinese junk".  Its not just patriotism or xenophobia.

I would no sooner consume some of these products than I would drugs or candy made in China.  I can't see me eating candy made in China, purchased from some knock-off gas station.  If you've ever harbored concern for the sketchy energy pills in the one-dollar packets, its the same concept.

Ceteris paribus, I would rather buy Chinese. Those mofos get executed when they screw up products.

I don't know, man. Checked out Audis lately? IMO, the A6 matches in performance and beats the 5 series in user-friendliness and prettiness at much lower price. On my second one now. Got both certified pre-owned with full warranty for less than the price of a new loaded Accord. I haven't seen a better value out there.

UAW wages, pensions and health plans make up the biggest percentage of the cost. I'd rather pay the tariffs and send my money to the Germans than to let those surly union fucks have any of it.

Absolutely. I'd prefer to send my money to the little brown people though.

Word. I support brown as well with a Toyota and Honda in the stable. When brown builds two-wheels like BMW or four-wheels like Porsche, I'll do business with them on that front too.

FYI the LS1 is one of the best performance motors ever built.

The motor costs about six grand.  How do you justify the other $50k of garbage surrounding it?

Corvettes are the fastest car for the price.  What Porche are you gonna get that can beat a vette around the track for the same price?

Isn't that kinda like selling someone a joint for 40 bucks and saying "Yeah, this is some good stuff though. The weed is $10 and the zig-zag paper its rolled in is gonna be $30"

Seems the engine on a vette should make up more of a percentage of the cost of the total car.

About 5 a day here too.

Whew... at $10 for 5, that's gonna add up.

1 still lasts me a couple days.

Well, you get 140 at a time with the 30% coupon and they're half that price. Still more than I would like to spend, so I refill them once or twice with Ms T's.

Vaporsmith just announced extra-strength flavors, BTW.
