General / Re: More News on REAL ID
« on: May 09, 2008, 09:51:29 PM »Every time the government regulates something, it effects the formation of a thriving black market. Air travel is no different.Whatever happens with the Fed Real-ID, it don't matter a damn to me.
So, you don't travel by plane?

General / Re: Society against my will of becoming a vegetarian
« on: May 05, 2008, 09:06:58 PM »
As long as you're not advocating the use of force to make other people be vegetarians, good luck to you. But it is good that you realize that it is only because of the affluence of our civilization that "ethical" vegetarianism is possible - most vegetarians I know believe that omnivorism is a perversion of humanity brought on by "the capitalist system".

The Polling Pit / Re: Do Ian & Mark go overboard......
« on: May 01, 2008, 08:21:46 PM »i voted Yes, but let it be clear that i do not think this is a bad action on their part. i do think they are alienating people- but a progressive humanity can only be impaired by including those who submit willingly to oppression and corruption.
That is if you believe believing in a deity/deities leads to oppression and corruption upon the individual. I know my parents feel very liberated after they come home from church. It's almost like having sex to them.
One size doesn't fit all, bro.
The church is oppressive, any church. Imposed morality with promises of reward, Us vs. Them, etc. I believe all churches to be corrupt as well.
Generalization is fallacy.

Q: What is the difference in kind between compulsory education and imprisonment without trial?
A: Trick question - the difference is in degree, not in kind. Compulsory education is part-time prison without trial.

General / Re: A gun in the house?
« on: May 01, 2008, 01:16:56 PM »
I have 9 guns, and keep one of them loaded at all times. There's no crime deterrent like the sound of a 12-gauge shell being racked.

Photoshops / Re: What'd you add to *your* version of the Anarcho-Capitalist flag?

I didn't make this, but it's the one I have adopted as my banner. When the person who designed it gets some made, I am getting one and flying it.
