I use a Sansa Fuze. I love it. My single complaint is that it's a dip shit proprietary connector. Every other device I own is mini USB.

Your arguement lost credit at the "but this isn't the society we live in..." thing.
If nobody steps outside and does what's RIGHT, when will we every get there. The only problem I had with what Alex did was that he didn't think of Mark's suggestion of telling the woman to stop being a bitch and get back to him in the morning.

I think that in a free society, a large group of people can form an organization, calling themselves 'The State of X', and using voluntary funding, establish themselves as a force to prevent smaller gangs from exerting tyranny over society.
Does this group hold a monopoly on "prevent[ing] smaller gangs from exerting tyranny over society"? If yes, then they're using aggressive force to prevent a business's operation.
If no, it's an anarchy, not a minarchy.

Heck, I don't even REBOOT every couple of months. Razz
I had one server loop the old Linux uptime counter...twice.
I have a laptop. If we were talking servers, I wouldn't suggest Windows or Linux. I install my OS because I find it fun. I happen to avoid the activation by doing that, but I do it when I'm running my legit copies of Vista or Linux, so it has very little to do with the fact that I CAN avoid the license thing. I'd just crack it if that was my aim.

I HATE Paula's calls, and when she comes on, I always spin the wheel on my iPod until she's gone. Same as I do for Gene.
Gene's calls are usually decent enough for me to stand. Paula's annoy me quite a bit.

I re-install my operating system every few months, mainly because I get bored with it, regardless of which one I'm using. By the time the Windows 7 RC expires, the full version will be out and I can install that one as a trial too.

You can always AMP. Those are local VOIP lines that can easily be dialed internationally. It's only $3 a month.

Why is Tom so obsessed with getting kids to drink?
He's not obsessed with getting kids to drink. He's distracted from that by his desire to off cops.

General / Re: Why is Twitter?
« on: May 26, 2009, 07:50:43 PM »
When Pete and Jason were arrested, it was Jason's tweets and a iPhone picture that let us know they were arrested.
By the end of the evening, over $3K was raised, a friend was flown from DC to MS, had a hotel room.
Twitter is used for connecting to your friends. If you don't see value in that, perhaps you just have shitty friends.
