fuckin’ mark of the beast I tell ya!!! (just kidding)

Why kidding?

To the religious it's prophecy. To the atheist it's a story of human nature.

Either way, it's a miserable coercive imposition by power upon the powerless.

As a kid, partially raised by a fanataical Southern Baptist woman, I was always told that the mark of the beast were 'barcodes.' My grandma was adamant about it, she flipped out at the grocery store when they started adding barcodes to fruits and veggies. I remember she called the cashier the devil's servant and we left.

She is in a home now... I miss her craziness sometimes, made life fun.

The reason I said just kidding is because I don’t want to give the impression that I would subscribe to such ridiculous beliefs… I don’t, and you can thank my grandmother for that!

you know what irks me, fuckers who don't even pay that much in taxes get the damn EIC every year...... and end up with more money than they started with in the refund... how the fuck does everyone with 900 kids get MORE back than they pay in.

start with an income of like $11,000 a year, add two kids to the mix........ end up with something like a $6,000 refund check....................... really?

This lady I work with had 5 kids, she ends up getting close to a $10,000 check from the IRS each year, it's insane! It does help that her husband works for the IRS and knows all of the shortcuts. Damn, makes me wanna get pregnant just thinking about it.

I would rather have my tax money go to the fuckers than the government's war efforts.

How many people in the US don't get SSN's for their kids?

Why Should I Get A Number For My Baby?

You need a Social Security number to claim your child as a dependent on your income tax return. Your child also may need a number if you plan to:

    * Open a bank account for the child;
    * Buy savings bonds for the child;
    * Obtain medical coverage for the child; or
    * Apply for government services for the child.

I was pretty much coerced into getting one for my lil’ one... I had so much pressure from my family and what not. It was like I was wanting to perform FGM on her for fuck sake. I was getting so much shit for it. My work’s insurance would not add her to my policy w/o one… fuckin’ mark of the beast I tell ya!!! (just kidding)

Great game.

edit: Oh!  If you like tower defense games (and a PS3 I'm assuming or even an X360):

PS3: Pixel Junk Monsters
X360/PC: Defense Grid

Tak for det.  :)

Keep it short for sure.

Only Anthony Kiedis looks sexy with long hair...or Legolas.
But I do find beards to be quite sexy.

I'm a girl, but I don't consider myself Libertarian.  :(

So, I live in Mesa and around 4pm I was driving to get gas in my car and I noticed this really really bright white light, like the brightest light I have ever seen in the sky just kind of hanging out. I was in my car so I couldn't get video and my cell phone has a shitty camera. I got home to find nothing on the news or radio. Then I found this thread and it reminded me of Brasky's encounter. It sounds like we saw the same thing.

In this case they are calling it a "weather balloon." I don't know a whole lot about weather balloons, but it just seemed way to bright to be anything like that. Anyone else in AZ happen to see this?
