Gotta step in there Davey --- you have always punked out, on each and every meet date set. You even didn't show up at Davies Hardware that time, when you actually had some support ... but yet when those folks posted a pic that no one showed -- you CUT N PASTED and talked as if you were.

I have a polite request, for all posts written by and written to or about Dave (PoughkeepsieGuy). As it is right now, his mostly vulgar, and meaningless threads/posts have taken over the board. And now he has chosen to lock his threads so no one can reply. Isn't that the main purpose for most threads ... a discussion ? So in short this guy is basically being allowed to SPAM the forum here.
This way, with a Dave Room -- all posts, threads etc that Dave writes or others refer toward him, can be posted there ... and if not, it gives the Mods a convenient place to put them if and when they are posted elsewhere. A mods job is difficult enough and I speak this from experience (its how I found out about Dave, spamming on my forum).
I don't ask for a ban on him ... and I would not. That is not my concern as a participant here. Just a polite suggestion for the FTL board to consider.

It's typical.
All of his youtube videos have the comments turned off. His only purpose is to take over the board (as he has, if you take a look) with vulgar, nonsense threads ... and spam away.... with "DaveSpam". He's been doing the same thing for many years.

I was pretty excited to finally land my tech class license 15 or so years ago. But trying to fit into the local clicks on the repeaters in the area proved very disappointing.
So, I keep my license active, but use the upper and lower illegal bands on the CB ... where the people are just down home friendly.

Yea, it's def worth it. It's got a great cast imo and as rather sad as it may be overall, the story does hold your interest till the end. Mostly b/c you're thinking what the hell can happen to this family next. And now as I think, each person in this extended family has something wrong going on -- past or present. hmm ~ maybe I'll give it another go in a few days.

I am not sure when this came out, just that it was in the last year ... We rented it on a whim b/c my gf likes Meryl Streep. I guess she's ok .. seen her play some good roles. Anyways, the whole movie kind of took me by surprise ... Talk about dysfunctional families, these folks were poster material and then some. Went to bed feeling a little weird and a lot shitty Lol.
I thought it was good as far as the acting/storyline and such. Without knowing any background about it's production I'd take a guess that someone wasn't just making this crap up .. ugh !
So if you saw it, what did you think ? Again not up on these things, but I think Streep was up for an Oscar in this. Not sure.
