Why the fuck do police need a .30 machine gun for crowd control? I was watching a show that a used to like called sons of guns, its show about a custom gun shop. Anyway in the last episode they pimped out this tank like thing, that has .30 machine for their local police department, that plans on using it for crowd control. I watched it for like 10 minates then went and posted a long message on their facebook page telling them they losted a fan.........................WTF!

General / Corperations define
« on: March 17, 2012, 10:14:30 PM »
I always assumed that a corporation was a business that gets the governemnt to pass laws to limit competition and gets tax payer money, however I  just googled corperation and the definition is a "group of individuals regard by law as a single enity". What does that mean. Could someone explain to me what a corporation is and if my definition is wrong, why they are bad.

General / Militia?
« on: March 08, 2012, 03:17:25 AM »
Peaceful means of advancing liberty are by far more effective, however I think peaceful means only work when your voice is heard. With the NDAA and H.R.347, which are big steps towards the president being able to silence political opponents. I'm having a hard time believing that rational DEFENSIVE militias are a bad thing. Any thoughts?, am I wrong? Is there a line that once crossed violence is ok? Is it a good or bad idea to have a militia with the purpose to ONLY use violence when peaceful means aren't possible? There are examples in history when peaceful means weren't possible an example would be germany in 1940, or was peace an option and I'm just missing something? The only incentive for a monoplolized government is to increase, so wouldn't that mean that peaceful means will eventually be rendered ineffective? I'm not violent this is just theoretical and I'm not saying militias should be used now, I just heard Ian on free talk live say that militias are always bad. I'm having a hard time seeing that and I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

Serious Business / moral dilemma
« on: December 16, 2011, 05:38:07 PM »
I'm a freshman in college and my major is criminal justice. Part of my reasoning was that police officers would be more willing to listen to a libertarian if it was another police officer and that it would help having more officers supporting marijuana bills. But I'm having serious doubts if I can arrest some people. I'm thinking about changing my major but I wanted to get the opinions of some other people. Is this a good or bad idea? Would having a libertarian police officer help at all?
