The Polling Pit / Extreme vagina close-ups... hot or not?
« on: August 27, 2008, 07:01:10 PM »
Was talking about this at work the other day... have you ever seen porn where its like a SUPER close up of the vagina? I'm talkin where the vag fills the entire frame and you can practically see into it. Do you think its hot or not?
Personally, I think its weird... almost gross. Don't get me wrong, I love me some vagina, but I dont want to see INTO it.

General / The Numbers

Alright, so, the current birth rate, est, for 2007 (according to the CIA's world fact book ) is about 14.16 births per 1000 population (which I believe is on a downard trend for the last decade, if I recall correctly)
The population currently is 301,139,947 (according to the same source). So, in essence thats 4,264,142 births a year, right?
So, if we divide that by 365 days in the year, we come out to about 11682 births a day.
Now, lets assume that 100% of people will be indoctrinated by the public school system as to the benevolence of big government.
In essence, atleast 5841 people a day need to be convinced of the value of liberty for us to "stay head of the curve". We're gonna need some exponential growth, me thinks.
(LOL okay, I know its not that simple, but I thought it was interesting to look at it that way)

Do you have to?

The Polling Pit / How much would you donate to a welfare-style charity, if you weren't taxed?
« on: June 20, 2007, 03:55:06 AM »
Really think about it. Lets say you make a $1000 paycheck... after taxes, $700. All of a sudden, you get your $300 back. You think you might give $5 a month to a local bum-helpin' charity? Maybe even $20?

General / How do you guys do it?
« on: June 11, 2007, 09:05:19 PM »
You know, I spend a lot of time in libertarian/pro-free-market arguments in other forums online... usually refuting poor assumptions. My favorite one is where someone thinks libertarians are all assholes who are trying to create slave-labor monopolies. How do you guys keep from just getting frustrated and completely giving up?
