I'm going to have to check both of those out. I've watched a few trailers and like what I see.

General / Re: Remember how I've said that pigs like to kill pets?

Why don't they ever shoot cats, or goldfish?

That's probably one of those government oversights that will be corrected soon.

I like the guy in the fancy jacket and hat just strolling along with the crowd.

Apparently what makes governments "better" is the notion they (occasionally) give you some kind of warning (see: threat) before they kill you.

From the Cracked article I posted, it seems the only difference between said gangs and governments is that gangs have a faster response time. Usually.

I wish there were more eloquent ways of saying it, but all I can think is simply "What the fuuuuuck..."

Not even a question. Just an observation.

General / Re: Ian's new avatar, lol @ sperm

It can't be sperm, he's had a vasectomy!

Edit: Well, I guess it doesn't have to be his sperm. Free "that's what she said" opportunity for anyone who cares.

Easily my favorite carnival ride. I look forward to my son's first trip on one.

There are demos for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Ignore the awful voice acting in the cutscenes and have fun blowing stuff up. The grappling hook is pretty damned fun, too.

The demo area's pretty huge, too. When the timer runs out, you get a preview video that puts the actual size of the whole game into perspective. It's going to be a blast.

I'm looking forward to toppling oppressive governments by destroying the murderously funded infrastructure. Oh, and Just Cause 2 looks like fun as well.

General / Re: What does the junk in your car say about you?
« on: March 22, 2010, 10:17:39 PM »
Though the junk in my car hasn't yet evolved the ability to speak, I'm sure it would trash-talk about me to my girlfriend whenever she borrows it. Of course, she contributed here and there, too. I need to clean the damned thing.

The back seat is almost totally clean, though. I don't screw around with my kid back there.
