General / Re: Kat Kanning Interviewed On "School Sucks" Show

The Schools Sucks Podcast is so awesome that I've personally spent $200 advertising it online.  Would it help if I paid you 40 cents to download it, like I do for everyone else?  Hold your hand, maybe?  :)

The show is gold.  When someone hands you gold, you don't say "54g is too heavy to carry!"

If you want to end governments schooling, listen to the show, then give it to the next guy.

The CDs have arrived!  Denis has some in Concord, and I have some in Dover.  Please contact whoever's closer to you to figure out how we can get them to you (preferably you'd come pick them up, but if that's impossible for some reason, I will make an effort to deliver them to you).

Ofer in Dover:

Denis in Concord:

Remember, even a one-time, 15 minute effort on one day could potentially reached dozens or hundreds of young people.  It doesn't get better than this.  Denis and I have done everything we can to facilitate success - all that remains is the actually handing out, and that's entirely in your hands (though we'll be doing our part, of course).

There are 2500 CDs being printed at this moment, scheduled to arrive in a few days.  So, in theory it's possible to reach thousands.  Maybe that's unrealistic, but:

1) Won't know till we try
2) Even hundreds is still wonderful
3) Any leftovers can be reused - they're not going to be obsolete a week later or anything

I think this project rocks in terms of bang for the buck.  I can't wait to start.

BTW-Us folks in NH are putting this together, but nothing about the idea limits it to being done in NH.  If you like it, grab the contents from the link Denis posted, print your own copies, rally your own community of volunteers, and go Johnny Appleseed it all over the place.  I'm sure Ian and Mark won't mind the bump in listeners.  :)
