The Show / Has anyone had a bad experience with MIDAS ?
« on: February 18, 2013, 05:47:43 PM »
I'm beginning to get nervous with the lack of response, and the definite lack of shipping from them, but was wondering if that is the norm.  Since they are somewhat of a company in the upper echelon of the Free Talk Live somehow, I'm wondering if this is the place to ask that question.  Am I the only one not entirely happy?

I sometimes sell guns priced in ounces of silver.  In almost every instance, the people have paid me in dollars (most people don't know how to buy silver) and I have added 5% for the conversion to silver, and I use an exchange rate to my favor.  I still like to do it, even though it may have cost me a few sales over the years, but I like to still price the items in silver, as it makes a few people think about it, and I have opened a few eyes over the years. I usually price the gun in full ounces, and post the US Dollar and the Euro exchange rates (not the converted price, but the rate of exchange) and make the people try and do the math in their own heads.  I sold a rifle recently for 10 ounces of silver, and posted the euro exchange rate at 32.50 / oz.    Can you believe the average Joe Schmoe wasn't able to determine the price of the rifle was around 325 Euros without using a calculator!!!!!  Most people had to get out their I-Phone, and download an app, and even then they didn't know how to add SILVER to the currencies.  They said "I don't know how to figure this out, silver isn't really a world currency, and it isn't in the list".

Drifters partially right, but what he describes isn't so prevalent in A-Dam, as the prostitution is legal there. I go to A-Dam a lot, and while I don't spend any time in serious negotiation with the Ho's, I do see them out there, and know the difference between asphalt tramps and working girls.  The scenarios he decribes happens more often in eastern europe and scandinavia, where it isn't above board.  I know several prostitutes in Germany, who live pretty regular lives during the day.  It's out east that the cruelty really happens, and who are they going to call for help, the police?  The police run the rackets out east, and Drifter probably describes it well.

I have known Defense Contractors in Bosnia and Kosovo who have bought women for around $2,000 (in 1999).  I mean really bought them, and owned them like chattel slaves.  They had their passports and everything.  They weren't cruel enough to keep the girls though, but they thought they could.

But not all prostitutes are human slaves. Here in Germany, particularly the former East Germany, there are a lot of women who form a legal company, and incorporate, and prostitute themselves.  That way, they can write off on their taxes their sheets, showers, clothing, renovations, rubbers, and all sorts of things as business expenses.

Pimping doesn't earn a lot when there are legal Ho's out there with clean lean supple bodies, turning tricks for 100 EU ($125) for an hours worth of work.  Who wants a beat up, black eyed, scared and doped up, dirty stinky little infested Ho, when the clean and nice ones are availble?

I can't believe that America still outlaws prostitution.  Is it still legal in Nevada?

The Show / Suggestions for Marks "Edgington Post" Interviews
« on: May 19, 2010, 06:11:54 PM »
Here's a few I would like to listen to if they were done nicely by someone who could use cuss words, and didn't have to follow the FCC rules;

Michael Hoy - former publisher of Loompanics Press, who used to have some of the absolute coolest books available before they closed shop.

Ken Royce - Boston T. Party - Even though he has shown up at the liberty forum, he has a TON of cool information and is a pretty savy gun guy.

John Ross - author of "Unintended Concequences"

Stephen W. Dillon - Chairman of NORML.

"Fred" from the Appleseed project, if he is still alive.

Vin Suprynowiscz - From the Las Vegas area, and bookwriter.  Wasn't he originally from New Hampshire?

These are just a few that popped up after reading the post Mark wrote about who someone might want to hear an interview from, when he was commenting on the "Nature Bee" guy.  I just didn't want to sidetrack the thread about the worst commercials.

I like the interviews, especially if they aren't geared so much on the advertisers.

I would also enjoy hearing some interviews from some of the free staters who make news, and who are pretty colorful.  As an example, the young kid who got busted for holding the leaf, and some of the other activists. I would also like to hear an interview with Dale, since he co-hosts a lot, and I really don't know much about him.  And Wayne and the others.  I'm sure they have pretty interesting backgrounds, and I hear them all the time on the show but don't know much about them.

I'd be a little more careful in expressing your anger Murkan Mike. The Imperial Arm is long and someone might get tipped to cancel your contract.

Too late!   Actually it already happened last year.   I was "Separated for cause" for violating an abscure unprinted and unpublished administrative 'order' shortly after I attended last years Liberty Forum in Nashua. It was the first negative mark against me in 23 years. I was a highly repected, and much awarded model manager for 23 years in this organization, operating slot machines in the military clubs overseas. There was a short notice management meeting planned during the same time as the Liberty Forum, and I had to decline the meeting.  I think the General Manager thought I was making it up and just didn't want to attend his dog and pony show, so when I was asked what my prior commitment was I explained.  I'm sure he looked it up on the internet to see if it was legit, and when he saw what the Liberty Forum was, he probably wet his little pink panties.  He is a retired Colonel in the Army, and a big gung-ho guy, who was given his position because of his ability to cow down to the military command.  I don't think they like things like the free state project, and he probably hates the thought of having someone working for him that supports freedom and individual liberty ("If the military would have wanted you to have individual thought and liberty, they would have issued it to you in basic training!").

I was fired 30 days after my return, and it was just plain old bullshit.  So now I work as a food service laborer and I can't imagine they would fire me for anything.  What could they charge me with, Sedition?

I don't want to sidetrack this thread, but it is images like this that keep me from moving back to the US and to NH, and joining the peaceful revolution.  If I really thought that I could affect change by moving to NH and helping the activists then I would have done that last year, but I just can't see how placing myself into that kind of violent society would change anything.

I have a sarcastic big mouth, and I hate police officers, dirty lying filthy government officials, and tyrannical authority.  So it would be no-time before I would be that guy in the video who gets knocked down by those Nazi Cops with their little Nazi helmets.  And when the cop says "Don't Move, stay down"  I would instinctively reply back with "Kiss my ass you motherfucker", and then I would get a rifle butt to the head.  And I would spend time in prison.

So to avoid this type of situation, it's best I stay away from the police state of america, because as much as I admire all the things happening in NH, I just don't see it changing anything like what happens in this video.

I work with the US Military in the largest american community outside of the US, and it seems to me that this 'knocking down doors and yelling at people'  is what was learned in Iraq.  I'll bet those policemen are all iraqi vets, as they did that daily there.

Besides, if someone shoots my dog, I am definitely going to prison for mass murder of police officers, and how could that help the freedom movement?

My dog is a member of my family.

If someone shoots him, I'll get back later and kill that shitbag.  Cop or not.  I don't believe in violence, and couldn't care less if shooting the person who kills my children, family or dog violates the NAP, I'll take the punishment.  If you shoot me, my family, or my dog, I'll come back after the cuffs are off and kill you.   Even if it is wrong.

I am not living in the US, so I am not up to speed on most of the gruesome shit that happens there, so would someone who knows more than me please be kind and explain something to me.......   Wasn't this a SEARCH warrant?     What the fuck were they doing going there dressed with their little Nazi Helmets on, if they were merely SEARCHING the house.   Does a search warrant mean that the gestapo will bust down your door and shoot your dogs?  (the remaining comments have been removed by the contributor so as not to appear violent and threatening to government employees regarding someone shooting his dog).

General / Buffalo Gold Coin
« on: May 05, 2010, 05:13:27 PM »
Why do you think the gummint made their first .9999 (4 nines) gold bullion coin in a $50 denomination?

Also, according to their website "By law, all of the gold used in the production of the American Buffalo bullion coin must be from newly-mined sources within the United States."

Why do you think they made such a requirement?  I'm not trying to start any conspiracy theory, but it would seem to me that if they wanted to put a bullion coin into circulation (I still can't see what they have to gain by doing so) they would give it a larger denomination, and would use whatever gold they had on hand.

Are there any sound reasons for doing this?   I mean.... not that anything they do is based in sound reasoning.

Just curious.
