We all miss him, and so does the movement. He had a great impact on alot of people. He had great leadership qualities. He was an interesting filmmaker. Some say he leaving was for the better. Others say Ian has never been the same since Sam left, they say that Sam was kind of a checks and balances for Ian, not letting him gain too much power. But this is all speculation. One thing is for sure, Sam Dodson is sorely missed and the movement would be better off with him behind a camera.

The grass is always greener. But sometimes a mod is pissing on the grass (provoking people and then banning them, ruining the forum) It looks like someone stopped the mod from pissing on the grass here, and for that i am grateful.

Yeah, when I start playing a game that I really like, it is certainly an amplifier for anti-social behavior.

"Did you forget you were banned, under the name SeriousSplinters?"

Yep, banned by John Shaw. Luckily, Ian unbanned me because after reading what I was banned for, he was left scratching his head. And sure, ive changed my behavior, but the guy was having temper tantrums online (E-Tantrums) and obviously I wasnt the only one who thought so.

Im still working on getting back on the Shire forum which Dalebert ejaculated me from, i believe i'll know whether or nor im back in later today.

he point is that there was a time when moderator were ruining things for anyone who dissented from the norm, and now Ian is trying to fix what was done on his private property. I say he is doing a good job, at least for me.

I truly believe the major reason was John Shaw and Bradsky. I'm not saying that "over-moderation" was the problem, i'm saying that theyrovoked people and then banned them or scared them away. And those who they didnt were too afraid to say anything for fear of the same. There wasnt a problem with moderation, that healthy, it was the moderators themselves.

Well, Shaw had been abusing his power as a mod for a while. He needed to be talked to.

Other than that, yes, this place has become a ghost town.

The comment above me is pretty much what I think on the situation.

Curtis, you ARE making progress. But you need to be more responsible.

Yeah i got sick of it after a while. I like the Bethesda's Fallout series as well. Any game where i can run around freely,  looting the aristocrats and/or assholes, i will play and enjoy. Fable is a little to restrained for me.

It will probably get "Game of the year", which means it was awesome. It is a free roam game where you live and interact in a massive, fictional, middle earth type world. You may choose to do evil, good or a little of both. He will be playing it for a LONG time, lol.

That being said, one of the main parts of the game is liberty oriented. You must choose one of 2 sides. One is the Imperial Empire: They have intergrated themselves and their culture into a land that is not theirs, but that they want for strategical purposes. They have also forbidden the natives from worshiping their own gods and some other rituals. The other side is the liberty side, the Stormcloaks: They are rebelling against the Empire because they want to live their lives the way they choose, not what others choose. Seeing any paralells? Ask your son who he chose and why, it might lead to an interesting discussion.

Or i said way to much and you wanted a shorter answer lol, its a really good game.

Yeah. I have high hopes for this year's PF because of the people running it this year. Last year was just, well, irresponsible pretty much hit the nail on the head. Im staying positive this year though.

After playing Skyrim for weeks on end, i finally got tired of it. Playing New Vegas now, it def has high replay value.
