It seems to me that for that lately I've seen more male-male and female-female kissing on TV and movies than I've seen interracial.
But that could be due to the kind of stuff I watch. Lots of sci-fi (Torchwood, Lost Girl).
The TV Show "Eureka" has an interracial couple, for those who are counting.

My response to the "no historical evidence" argument is simple: "SO WHAT?"
At one point in the past, there was "no historical evidence" that life would evolve on the planet.
But I always like to strike the root: Lack of historical evidence doesn't grant you the right to steal from me and use violence against me. This renders arguments about "historical evidence" moot.
History (or lack therof) != Right to Exclusive Use of Force.

I agree completely. Your two personalities work well together. You are the pragmatist, and Ian is the idealist. Both are valid and necessary ways of looking at things. I wouldn't say that the friction between you two makes the show entertaining... but it is a part of the show that helps makes it what it is.
The show is definitely better when you're both on. The Sunday shows that you do with Stephanie have a vastly different "feel" to them. Ian's Monday shows feel more like "Free Talk Live", but there's still a noticeable difference.

Most cults don't engage in those extreme types of "human sacrifice", but almost all of them involve sacrificing the individual for the good of the group or some greater entity (God, the 'group', the flying spaghetti monster, etc.). Exactly what is to be sacrificed also varies, but free will is always on the list. Usually its joined by money, property, time, children, and external relationships. Unfortunately, for the State, is is all of the above and then some more. It is surreal and infuriating how much we are expected to 'sacrifice' to the state. Even our lives if they decide to ask.
I'm always wary of people/organizations who claim that I must sacrifice something... and then SURPRISE, it turns out THEY are the beneficiaries of that sacrifice.
On a related note, no one has ever adequately explained why Jesus needs my money.

1) We always knew centurions and their families are a separate caste with separate rules, but for some reason, this is just too much.
2) With the ever-expanding size of the government, what happens when almost EVERYONE is a "family of law enforcement officer"?
3) So what's stopping any random person from buying one of these? ...or stopping some liberty-minded officer from buying a crate of them and handing them out at random?
4) I've got some suggestions for artwork if they run out of ideas.

Manson is definitely crazy, probably still dangerous, and certainly guilty. Probably of murder.
I'm not all that familiar with the details, honestly, but I know he didn't actually kill anyone. The question then becomes, did he brainwash his "family" and use psychological force to get them to kill for him? My understanding is that he did.
If I brainwash someone and they kill for me, then the argument can be made that they had no choice in the matter and that, at the time of the murder, they were just a tool. They were the "gun" that I used to kill another person. So the extent to which Manson took away their free will is the same extent to which he is guilty of murder.
However, it isn't quite as easy as that. I imagine there is some uncertainty as to how much control these people had over themselves both before and during the crimes.
