Win XP, 5 year old hardware, constantly at 100% CPU use if I don't forget to feed it tasks. Works fine, but I'll probably go with a linux variant next time I change the operating system.

Damn, I know I've seen one too...went googling, but came up dry.
Did find photographic evidence wolves really do wear sheep clothing though. So many people think that's just a saying.

You scored as Existentialism.

How about : Encouraging people to work phone banks for a program they believe in without monetary compensation.
Same thing, different way of saying it.
How's that any different than political activism or fundraising for a group you support? Is it the profit motivation?

Hell, this BBS is a cult.
So Landmark is a cult...or it isn't a cult, who cares? After 90 minutes of this the central question of whether the program does any good hasn't been touched. So far it's just been cult cult cult cult and Ian knocking a biz for incentive practices he'd applaud if other businesses did them.

Pizza always goes over well with college students. I had good success getting a half dozen pies donated by dropping the words "campus organization" back in my time. Had to pick them up of course, but hey, free isn't free.

General / Re: FTL Money Stamping
« on: September 22, 2006, 09:51:12 PM »
It's one more way for people to hear about the show.
It's also fun to see people's reactions when they notice it.
Some tips:
- I go to the ATM and get a hundred bucks in 20's - stamp them. To maximize the amount of bills to stamp I break them with small purchases the next day and stamp the resulting 10s/5s/1s. Keep using bigger bills than necessary when buying small things just to get more change. Of course use up the smaller ones once you get them stamped or you'll end up with a wad of 1's after awhile.
Besides, the girl at the coffee shop will think you're hot if you use a $20 every day to buy your coffee.
- If your wallet has two sections, use it to keep the stamped from the virgins. Saves sorting time and makes it more likely you'll keep doing it.
- As tempting as it might be to stamp right over Lincoln's face, remember a lot of people are going to take a stamp anywhere on Mommy Government's bills as rude, even as vandalism. I stamp on the back in the white sections of 5/10/20's and below the "In God We Trust" on the 1's to reduce the chance of pissing people off. You want people to see it and get curious, not irritated.
- And of course listen to FTL while stamping your bills each night.

Photoshops / Re: Jenna's Bush

Um, yeah, so....
where did the bikini bottoms go in frame 5?

I'm no photoshop expert, but even I can see that. Being a guy it took me awhile to look around the rest of frame 5, so I understand why it went missed.
Now that it's obviously a fake, what other chops can we find?

« on: March 19, 2006, 04:09:25 AM »I know if I were a cop and some prick handed me that shit, I'd haul him right out of that car and give him a swift kick in the balls. I'm not sure it's a good idea to fuck with the cops either. I'd rather just not fuck up at all.
You'll make a good women's prison warden some day.

I don't buy it.
I can't see it going down that smooth. The story read like something from Playboy Letters, not True Crime.

General / Re: So you discovered one of my fake shriners? Oh well.. Still got 3 to go
« on: March 16, 2006, 08:48:57 PM »They're all fakes...we've never even had a real female listener. I have friends of mine playing the roles of all the shriners who post on the BBS.
Lindsey is my Uncle Jim
Marielle is my plumber, Amos...
I've lied to the public just to make people think girls like us....is that sad?
-Torgo
Wait, your Uncle Jim started a fire near the house of the girl he used for the shrine picture so he could get video of her? Jim needs help!

Hmm, guess I wouldn't qualify, I'm not a stoner.
Anyway I prefer hick. Hayseed is ok too.
