The Show / Ian is Rico Suave? Hangs out with strippers
« on: July 24, 2009, 08:07:52 PM »
I just listened to the July 22 show and Ian reveals that he was friends with a stripper in Florida at a club that allegedly paid its dancers in drugs and has also befriended a stripper in New Hampshire.  Mark is always giving him a hard time about "not getting out much" and being a homebody, and it appears he is doing just fine.  By the way, Ian, if you didn't meet these girls on the job, I'm real curious where you *did* meet them.  Never hurts to have strippers as friends.  Plus they probably know where to get good drugs and know a cop or two that could help you out in a bind.

The Show / Is Ian a jerk to the board op?
« on: July 10, 2009, 03:51:16 AM »
I just listened to another podcast where Ian and Mark take a call from a caller and he corrects them about which station he is listening to and Ian responds "WFLA, Board op got it wrong" and I'm just curious if other people think Ian is a jerk to the board op, or if he deserves it.  It could very well be that the board ops are making stupid mistakes that they shouldn't (I mean they only have a small handful of duties and their mistakes affect a worldwide radio show).  But I wonder if correcting the guys mistakes on national radio is a dick move or if Ian has corrected the board op in private before, and he continues to make mistakes so maybe it is justified to correct him on the air.  The main thing I notice is that I've never heard him say anything nice about the board op or network staff at all.  Well maybe one time when a network guy agreed to work on a holiday.
