General / Calling all Veterans... for Peace

Not sure how many former military people we have on the board, but I am interested in your help and opinion. I joined Veterans for Peace a little over a year ago, and I am not surprised to see it is inundated with many lefties and socialists. While we all agree that war sucks, we disagree as to the cause of war and solutions. I know libertarians are notoriously bad at joining groups, but I would really like it if everyone who is a veteran to were to get involved. I think we can make a big impact and enlighten a lot of people on how liberty can solve many of our problems (war included). You can get a lot of info here: http://www.veteransforpeace.org/. No, I am not spamming; I think the antiwar, pro-peace message is very important to liberty. After all, without government, there would be no war.

i am tired of talking about vaccines. did anyone see this movie? i thought it was great and thought provoking. how would a free society handle this situation? would the property owners who own the air that the ship occupied take care of things? could you just blast it out of the sky for blocking your access to sunlight or would that be initiating force, or did they trespass and therefore initiate force? if you can't tell them to leave since they don't speak the same language, how can you avoid the use of force? cool movie at any rate.

listening to the flu show was quite painful. plus, all the pseudoscience misinformation that called in made me yell at my ipod.
1. flu is a virus that mutates very fast- that is why you should get a flu shot every year; it is generally a new strain every year
2. the flu shot is a combo of the 3 most likely forms of flu to infect people every year
3. the swine flu shot will be the same thing with the h1n1 form in it (it is NOT a new vaccine)
4. some flu shots contain thimerosol- if you are concerned, get a thimerosol free one- lying on the label is fraud and would cause a drug company to go bankrupt- i have no idea where that lady got her info, but seems nuts to me
5. a pandemic just means that it infects a large number of people, doesn't have to be deadly
6. swine flu is pretty miserable for about a week- yes, very low mortality rate
7. the total number of people with nerve damage from the first swine flu vaccine was about 500- the total number of deaths from swine flu thus far is about 500
8. the influenza virus can cause guillain-barre syndrome (paralysis that is usually temporary) and does so far more often than the vaccine
9. an allergy happens from a hyper-stimulated immune system, not a depressed one; in order for vaccines to work you must have a working immune system
10. crazy people make for entertaining radio callers

General / holster question

i have a taurus pt111 millennium pro and was looking to get a hip holster for concealed carry-likely inside the pant. nothing too elaborate; just something to prevent it from falling down my pants leg and making me a eunuch. thanks to anyone who has a reply.
