General / Foodstamps....HATE!

I am a cashier at a grocery store in the south and one of the things that really grinds my gears is seeing a family come through and purchase $300+ worth of groceries and then using food stamps to pay for it(an ebt card). While scanning their groceries I see that these people eat very well. They often buy all kinds of lovely junk food, pounds and pounds of the finest meats, all kinds of cereals, produce ...etc.
These people eat extremely well. Hell, they don't even have to pay for it! And it really bugs me because they eat better than I do! I work for peanuts and am trying to put myself through college and I do not need nor do I want government help. Yet I eat on as little as I can per meal to make all this possible. Often times I settle for eating one of those $1 or so Totino's Pizza's and something to drink. Usually costing under $3 a meal.
However these food stamped families with 3 kids and two lazy parents are eating like kings and queens.
Every week I notice ridiculous amounts of money is withheld out of my puny paychecks, and I can only imagine how much is withheld from people with larger incomes. It really warms the shit out of my heart knowing that my hard earned peanuts are going to feed Joe and Linda Schmoe with 12 kids while they sit at home and watch tv.
Sometimes I wonder, that since my tax money is in part going to pay for their groceries, then am I not the owner of some of their groceries? Can I not open a bag of their chips and start eating them as I myself had purchased them? Although I didn't directly pay for them, I did in fact pay for them. We all did.
Oh I also once had an order of like $600 of groceries all paid in food stamps, and then this certain family had a second order of like 7 bottles of whine totaling approximately $250. That $250 spent on alcohol SHOULD have gone towards paying for her own groceries when instead it went to alcohol. So by way of reasoning, we all paid for her wine. Whats the difference between paying for her food and paying for her alcohol? Either way, its still money...still tax money.
For the love of god, I hate food stamps and lazy people.
