The Polling Pit / If you could go back

Let me explain here...
Today a girl I know asked me "If you could decide to have been a guy or girl would you have still pick guy?"
I responded saying I would still be a guy. I asked her what she would do. She said she would be a guy mostly for the obvious reason, to play with her/himself. I told her it would get old pretty fast, and she would want her boobs back quickly. So then she said she would be a guy because she would have no period, higher wage, and be stronger, but that she would be a gay guy.
So if you could go back to you conception and change your chromosomes to change your gender, and not in the creepy way people do with plastic surgery, would you do it? If only to play with yourself?

would you rather live in tyranny or fight and die for freedom? This is not to say that the end is death, the ultimate goal is liberty, but would you fight violently with the knowledge that you could very possibly die? Is there a certain point you start fighting? Are we close?

General / Liberty Cards (My Review)

A little bit ago back I saw some Liberty Cards advertised on the Free Talk Live homepage (the ad is still there). I thought about it a bit and decided to d some activism of my own, and bought 250 Ron Paul cards.
Right after I ordered I had a question for Corey(the guy who sells the cards), so I e-mailed Corey, and in five minutes he responded with an answer. That was on a Sunday by the way. I can't tell you what I asked though, its only for FTL amplifiers and ninjas to know. I will tell you I got an answer I liked

Anyways. My order was placed on September 23rd and I got the cards today, which is shorter than he said it would take on his site. When i opened the package the contents were a bit messy.
But as it turns out, one of the rubber bands on the cards broke while shipping. Not Corey's fault. Here is my pretty display of cards(and two bumper stickers.)
The cards are really high quality, I don't know what you would call it but the cards are smooth and shiny. The price is pretty damn good, this guy must not be making money, my guess is most if not all of the money sent goes to making the cards and shipping them. PS: sorry to disappoint the pessimists who thought i would give a bad review.

The Polling Pit / BBS advertising

I feel like this BBS is quite bare as far as advertising goes, just an amazon search bar and AMP banner. Some people might ask "Why would anyone want ads?" As far as im concerned, the more money FTL makes, the more FTL will be able to do as far as getting more listeners. What I was thinking are those Google ad sense kind of ads that read the context of a post and have advertisements based on the post. Some people might not like it though.
Some unscientific studies i read in blogs show that most ad clickers are people who are just stopping by a site looking for something, and when they don't find what they were looking for will often leave the site by clicking on an ad relevant to their search. Going on this we could have ads only displayed for guests or something, but I think that would be more work for Ian. But also I bet there are some mods or add ons for this forum software that would make it easy.
Anyway, I'm having trouble concentrating so ill cut this short. Who thinks ads on the bbs is a good idea? I think it could bring in quite a bit of $.

General / where are some good places for liberty cards?
