The Show / Where did the podcasts go?
« on: July 02, 2010, 09:12:42 PM »
The ones that are usually at the top of the main page! I usually look at the descriptions to see what I want to listen to! Is it a glitch or a permanent change? The rage brought about by lack of podcast is building and I am going to open a can of initiation of force!

« on: March 13, 2010, 12:02:58 PM »
Some guy called into the show saying he was going to post a pro-liberty song called "My Country My Ass" in this forum. Does anybody have any details on this? He supposedly was going to try and get it on country stations.

I just came across your post linking to your Geocities page a couple days ago.
These few aren't entirely "pro-liberty", but they are "anti-regressive"

General / Some questions on some pro-liberty musicians
« on: August 20, 2008, 08:46:16 PM »Hey its me the Music 76 guy again, for those of you who don’t know I run a zine called Music 76 at myspace.com/music_76 which is working to build a Conservative and Libertarian alternative to the mainstream liberal dominated music scene.
Anyway I wanted to ask you guys some questions about some artists I have been looking into.
MYSTERY ARTIST: During 27 October 2007 show at about 21 minutes they have guy on called “Veejay Boyapottey” [bad spelling] on and he mentions about music. Does anyone know if he makes music? Some sites on him are:
http://www.youtube.com/olfdchannel
http://www.seattleliberty.com/
JOHN:On the 21 December 2007 show a guy named John calls in and talks about his pro-freedom music. Does anyone know any details about him? This may be his site: Youtube.com/phonhjohn
MILL CITY ALL STARS: They played Porcfest. No further info available, does anyone know anything?
DJ BLAZE:Yeah the “Renegade Movement” guy who always calls in (aka Freewebs Jeff). Does anyone know if he actually makes music since he calls himself “DJ”: http://www.freewebs.com/renegademovement/
ROCKLIN: http://bbs.freetalklive.com/index.php?topic=20290.0 anyone know anything about the music in this post?

Check out my zine myspace.com/music_76 it is libertarian and conservative music oriented. Once I get out of school in four weeks I will start working on it more including updating the bands list (taking one or two bands off and adding a bunch more including some of the ones you just posted and helped me find out about!).
Here is the bands list (We also have other zines, sites, labels, etc that deal with this stuff listed). To make the list you have to be a band or solo artist who espouses libertarian and/or conservative views in your music on a fairly regular basis.:

Great to see more people building the scene.

Thanx 4 the help
,
do you guys know of any bands that are libertarian/conservative political bands? You know like Pokerface (I am assuming most of you have heard of them since they are popular with libertarians).

I am trying to start a zine that deals with libertarian and conservative political music and recently on this board I saw a thread that advertised “The Ron Paul Song”:
http://bbs.freetalklive.com/index.php?topic=14030.0
http://mysite.verizon.net/jfrickinp/ronpaul.mp3
I was wondering if anybody had any info on who sang this?
Also does anybody know if the band “Big Shanty” is liberal or libertarian?
Thirdly do any of you know about “The Drug War Carol” and who sings that?
Finally do any of you know of any other conservative or libertarian musicians or bands? It does not matter what type of conservatism or libertarianism they subscribe to, what genre they are, how far along they are in there careers, how good they are, or even if they are still making music.
Thank you for your time and help.
