Tom Morello regularly wears a hat that says, quite plainly, 'commie'.  He and Zack de la Rocha have demonstrated through lyrics and advocacy that they are democratic socialists, i.e. want strong civil liberties, but want the government to run roughshod over the corporations and the wealthy.  The bassist is certainly left-leaning.  The drummer usually keeps fairly quiet about politics.

Every person should have a Government Issued ID Card      D   M   A
The question would probably be more clear if it read:

Every citizen should be required to carry a government-issued ID card

or something similar.  This places emphasis on the fact that it would be mandatory.

If the Republicans have any sense, they'll find a strong female candidate and have her run against Hillary...if there is such a thing in the GOP.

Republicans...sense?  Nevermind.

Queensrÿche's lead singer was given The World's Smallest Political Quiz after a concert in Louisiana and scored Libertarian on it.  (This actually made the lp.org news page some time back.)  Their music certainly demonstrates a certain lack of faith in authority, particularly on their concept album Operation: Mindcrime.

They found me via my Myspace, apparently because I put tons of pro-liberty slogans on it. I didn't start listening until I learned it sponsors the FSP.  I voted for the Myspace option, but both options apply.

I learned of the FSP through a small postcard that was left in the copy of The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Robert A. Heinlein that I purchased at a Barnes & Noble.
