Is there anyway to change my Username? I don't want to completely start over (since I just started to AMP).

General / Remember the story about the Dentist shot during an office pool raid?
« on: September 04, 2009, 12:02:34 PM »
I was discussing the militarization of police with a friend, and I brought up the story I had heard about an office pool raid on a dentist office a few years ago where they shot the dentist.
He doubted it was true and said that I was just exaggerating. He went to Google and searched and didn't find anything like that (it could be really buried in there). Does anyone have a link to a news article about that story?
Thanks!

The Polling Pit / Re: Should Free Talk Live limit callers?
« on: June 10, 2007, 12:17:42 AM »... Fuck off.
I wouldn't go THAT far. But, no, they shouldn't limit the callers. I think they should dump some callers a lot sooner than they do, but other than that, no limit on the amount or length of callers.

Well, I don't believe this effects the Ultimate line, in which Captain America is alive and well (as part of The Ultimates)...right?

The Polling Pit / Re: Which is Your Favorite Out of the World's Finest Heroes?
« on: January 24, 2007, 09:53:29 PM »Why, thank youWith that being said, there's also the matter of how the Batman gained his abilities; he traveled the world for over twelve years, honing his mind and body until he reached the peak of mental and physical perfection. How did the Man of Steel earn his? By landing on the right planet under the right sun...Karma'ed for that one!

Now, I'm not saying that I hate Superman; in fact, one of my favorite "Elseworlds" what-if stories is Superman: Red Son, where the Man of Steel lands 6 hours later on Earth in 1938... Guess where he lands? In Bolshevik Russia!
I haven't read that one yet. But one of my favorite Supes stories is actually a crossover with the Fantastic Four where Galactus claims Superman as his new herald. It was pretty sweet.
