Does one not work for the government? Same difference. Marines and soldiers are doing the same thing right now. Marines are supposed to do water based missions but their not. They are doing soldiers work in the middle east. Like I said, same difference.

So, I used to work at a Barnes and Noble, and the cafe manager was an ex-Marine.  She was like five foot if she was an inch, and big boned.  Once one of the guys in the cafe said that she used to be a "soldier" and I seriously thought she was going to detach the poor kid's head from his neck.  She "is" (apparently you never stop being in the Corps, according to her) a MARINE.

I work with solder enough that I know it cannot do any of those things.  It is an inanimate substance.
