Actually, it's proably a 2, maybe 3 stroke engine, low octaine fuel. Therefore, it's probably actually very fuel inefficient, but don't let that burst your bubble ;). Also it probably has a very simple transmission, if any to speak of at all.

Jeez, whatever happened to everyone having a flying RV-sized fantasy car that goes 1000mph, like G.M. told us in the 1920s?  What happened to super-cheap energy beamed via laser from a huge dilithium fission power plant on the moon?  I guess E doesn't equal MC^2 anymore...   :?
