Liberty TV?

(1/1)

MasterShake:
For those who have Dish network, there is a extreme fringe socialist network called FSTV (Free Speech TV... though when I emailed them and asked about the name they said they only carry "progressive" programs.. but anyway...)

Why, if this fringe group that carries shows like "Democracy NOw!" can have a TV network on a major satellite provider, why cant the liberty movement have a similar thing?

If I was rich, Id be happy to start it up, but alas, I'm not.

atomiccat:
I guess they only want free speech for progressives

Alex Libman 14:
George Soros?

Amodernrothbard:
This is something I've been considering seriously for a long time. A Liberty based television station would certainly be a major step forward. As talk shows like FTL and more logical, non-conspiracy oriented (we all know who I'm talking about) Liberty radio personalities become prominent, the next step will be a Liberty-leaning television network. I think the demand is certainly there.

FTL_Ian:
It's hard enough to find fresh content for a radio channel, but I agree this should be done.

They are probably paying dish for the transponder access.

I know that Ku-Band is $800 a month for a 64k audio channel on Galaxy 19.  Imagine what a video channel would cost!
