Helping North Koreans
« on: May 17, 2012, 04:25:14 AM »

I feel sorry for the average guy in the North. No one single individual can do much about the situation they're in. They're poor, lied to, and unable to break their brutal regime. I think its reasonable to assume that were it put up to a vote, they national government would be dissolved, and the upper echelons hanged.

But getting to that point is pretty difficult. Hell, the entirety of Gene Sharps "From Dictatorship To Democracy" is inapplicable.

No nation lasts forever, and perestroika ended the Soviet Union. Something similar can end the DPRK, and it doesn't even take violent government intervention to do it.

Violent government intervention is counterproductive. As long as the United States is on the peninsula, the South will be seen as a lackey of America by the North. Japan is hamstrung by the United States, because were it not, the Japanese would have attacked the North by now for all of the kidnappings they've done.

People in the USSR lost their shit over gum, jeans, and makeup.

So, best way to weaken the North? I think free people should channel Rousseau, and "make them free." By emulating the Berlin airlift, and airdropping food, gum, porn, and other things into the North, free people in Russia, China, and South Korea can antagonize the North, but put them in a position where they couldn't easily retaliate because any violent response on their part would trigger severe backlashes. I checked the pricing on weather balloons, air tanks, rice, and wind maps are pretty easy to get.  I cant figure a way to parachute the material in, but someone else might have a better solution to this.

The governments of China, Russia, and South Korea will make a half hearted attempt to try and find the individuals responsible. The simplicity of the design makes it easy for copycats to follow once arrested. And the North Koreans will read shit like 1984, and Naked Lunch, which will blow their minds.

Now what do you think guys?

Remember the part in the original Rambo movie where Stallone waited up in a tree until a wild hog lumbered on by and he jumped down on its back to partake of its succulent meat? Well, seems to me, the smart thing to do would be to do this on a massive scale with the predator drones. Wait up in a high tree and jump down on their backs, ripping wires and circuit boards out like some half-crazed brat opening presents on Christmas morning. Then when the thing starts losing altitude, manually take over the flight controls and guide it down to Freedom Base Central and re-program it to fly over NK, filled with little candies laced with Psilocybin mushrooms. The people down below would say "ah, free candies!" and gobble them up by the dozens.

Then, just wait for their minds to expand.

Much more effective than dropping Orwell books or Ron Paul flyers translated to Korean.

Only one fucking reply?

You guys don't deserve an active bbs.

Anyways, I gave some thought to what would happen if the United States left the peninsula, and a funny scenario popped up.

The South doesn't necessarily want the DMZ to come crashing down like the Berlin wall. The two sides are still at war too, but neither side wants a flare-up, and if one happens, there would be no reason for the North to hold anything back.

Where is this getting at?

Well, South Koreas self-defense. If they implement an "Iron-Dome" style type of defense against North Korea, the North might actually attack only because its their last chance.

Yup, so its gotta come down economically, or a lot of people will be hurt.

I think that despite the lack of freedoms, despite the famine, & despite the cruelty they are still brainwashed enough that this wouldnt be the case.

As soon as we can get the majority of our neighbors in this country out of the identical situation I'll start worrying about the folks over in South Korea  :?

They're pretty convinced that all their problems are due to the U.S., and there's a little bit of truth to it which helps fuel the propaganda. There seems little doubt that sanctions are contributing to their famine.

People from the north are not really well educated enough as with their prime minister. They are only being fed with information that they do not even know the whole truth behind it. They just live for their god - they PM. They do everything for the sake of their god and it's sick to think that up to this day and age, country like this still exists.
