Now, I'm only really interested in the Undertaker vs HHH match (I'm too old to really care about any of the new people), but it's still an event to look forward to.

It was pretty much obvious that this year's opponent would be HHH a year ago, but for a while it looked like Kane (our Glenn Jacobs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kane_(wrestler))) was being given a push (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push_(professional_wrestling)), so I was hoping it would be him.

Man I can't stand Ric Flair.  There was a period a couple years ago where I was in to wrestling (had a friend who was), just dropped off I guess.  Got to see the Wrestlemania a few years ago that was in Orlando though.  It was fun, even if you didn't like wrestling.

I can't even explain it...just the woo...and the old man tits, and the gay costumes.  He just made me want to punch things.   :lol:

Yeah, but he was a top star in the 1970s, and he was one of the few wrestlers to still be any good in the ring in his 50s.  Pass the Bengay, WHOOOO!   :lol:

Yeah, but the best match of WM3 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WrestleMania_III) was the one before it - Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=randy+savage+ricky+steamboat+wrestlemania+3).  (YouTube doesn't seem to have good video of the full match, but you can use the aforementioned torrent (http://btjunkie.org/torrent/WrestleMania-1-To-26/43588ca15e416f63e67d08dd0b9c334260f4f540116c), only pick the third one, and skip around to find it.)

And...  I still can't believe the epic arena that housed that performance in front of 93,173 fans was later liquidated for just $550k (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silverdome#Sale).  (Just as I can't believe a thread we had about it here was deleted...)  :cry:

Scott turned out the better of the two.  Great wrestling skills aren't enough for "sports entertainment", and Ric just wasn't drawing the crowed as much.  Ya gotta know how to "sell it":  :lol:

Now this one is a classic, just think of the wrestlers that came to the pros care of Stu Hart and Stampede Wrestling- Owen, Brett, Jim the Anvil, British Bulldogs, Honky Tonk Man, Chris Benoit, Jake the Snake etc.
