Yeah, surrogate, so although nasty and disgusting to me, let them. They're not hurting anybody. Poor kid though :(

Yeah. No force, they met as adults, and it's a donated egg. So really it's just a couple in which the female is considerably older than the male, and they're having a baby. That happens all of the time in reverse. *shrug*

If the story is true, it definitely hits pretty high on my ick meter.
But, seeing as there's not any harm to anyone against their will*... nothing I can say.
*No, I don't see potential harm to the child, because having a weird family and likely having to be raised by a widowed father isn't really that out there.

I really don't give a shit what they wanna do with each-other but being a kid who was severely bullied in school... I really hope this kid doesn't have to put up with that shit. I mean wtf do you say to someone who is making fun of your for having your great grandmother also be your mom.

So.. It's like their stuff, just in a surrogate? Aren't there a lot of chances of the child having deformities and such since they're so close genetically, or am I all wrong about that? and yeah... all I can say is eeeww

I believe we discussed this before and the consensus was: not too much.

being home-schooled doesn't protect kids from stuff 100% tho... i am pretty sure some jackass is going to figure things out and regardless of how much they try to shelter this kid and be a douche. some moron is always looking for a target and this mos def makes the kid more or a target than others.
maybe being raised in a "yur great gramma is also your mom" family will make you see things differently. but even if there was a surrogate and i found out down the road that my dad was banging my great gramma, and she she was my mom.......... i would be creeped the fuck out.

Referring to without a surrogate though, it would be not terribly risky.
