I just found an interesting Win32 program that might be of use for the liberty movement:
http://www.2hotspot.com/
Synopsis: This software allegedly makes it very easy to create a network of wireless access points to share data over a widely spread network. It is in beta, and I have UNIX so I can't really try this (without it being a pain). I'm sure there's Linux/BSD software that's similar but whatever. Long story short, people should try this out and see how well it works.

There are plenty of Linux solutions available.
Consider OpenWRT (http://openwrt.org/) which lets you turn that off-the-shelf access point into a fully functional Linux box and customize its operation.
Consider also HostAP (http://hostap.epitest.fi/) which lets you turn many popular wireless cards into access points. You can also do this with MadWifi (http://madwifi.org/).
See also the Personal Telco Project (http://www.personaltelco.net/).

Cool I like that. Someone should start up their own VoIP service for activism purposes. I wanted to do this several months ago, but I don't have the hardware to make it compatible with landlines.
