I'm willing to accept open carry at an open event is a great way to get publicity for two issues. He looked very reasonable and well-composed in his interview and even explained how he wears a firearm in public very often. His statement about peace was persuasive, but was undermined somewhat by having a sign that alludes to refreshing the tree of liberty.

I agree. but, I can't fault this guy for merely holding up a sign. I have children and I hate violence but I appreciate him for his courage. I also am thankful that he is very bright, held his cool and made Mathews look like an ass.

Did you see Mathews begging William to say he was a Ron Paul Supporter?

If you look at the you tube comments on this video most all of them are positive. That is scary and it is a sign of the times.

Well deserved. Those talking heads feed upon interviewees and often tear apart very intelligent interview subjects. I know nothing about William, but he sure answered intelligently under pressure and walked right through carefully crafted traps.
