I want a thermostat in my shower, so I don't have to fiddle and guess every time I get in.

Saw them in Japan, haven't seen them in the US.

A dishwasher with a completely stainless steel interior, including the racks. The racks not being stainless and rusting after a few years pisses me the fuck off.

A refrigerator with an icemaker that is completely sealed off from the other compartments of the freezer to stop the ice from absorbing bad odors.

A toaster with programmable memory settings for different bread items.

A sealed digital thermometer for cooking that is dishwasher safe.

I'm just fine with what I have in the kitchen. It's the bathroom where I would like more substantial technology.

Edit: That is, if I could swap out my electric range for gas. I prefer cooking with gas, but that's not anything that hasn't been available for centuries.

Our deep fryer just broke. Again. We've gone through half a dozen in 10 years. Why can't they be made to last? And why do none of them have a removable heating element that isn't attached to the temperature control thingee for easy cleaning?

Can you list the fryers so I can avoid them.  We are currently looking into getting one.
