Coffee. With a bottle of water and Turkey Hill iced tea sitting to my left.... I'm at work tonight. :-D

Assuming I wasn't at work, and it was 3 hours ago, I'd probably be drinking a Tröegs, or a Yuengling Lager or Black & Tan, or one of the house brews at my favorite bar (they brew a large variety of their own brews... good stuff!)

some guiness extra stout

so sad while in the states i couldnt find a damn bottle of fat tire anywhere =( meh

You couldn't find Fat Tire?  It's all over the place in Chicago, at least.
There was none to be found in VA or NH, last time I had any was in NC over a year ago =(

Keep looking, I'm sure somebody will be carrying it soon, if not already. If there's a Total Wine (& Beer) nearby, that's a good bet.

It's only been the last 6 months or so that I've started finding New Belgium products all over the place in Atlanta. Before that, I had to walk into the store on the day it arrived in order to get anything... not that it was bad, because when Fat Tire was out of stock, I tried their other brews, like 1554 and Mothership Wit.

Try to talk Mandrik into bringing some to sell at next year's PorcFest.... if you can go and he brings some, you can break your 16 years "on the wagon". :-D

Highland Crest Scotch, it was really good for a 12 dollar bottle.  Great stuff to drink on the rocks.  By the time ice was half melted I was grinning I loved the flavor so much.

Irish Breakfast Tea.

Earlier was icy little shot glass of limoncello, steeped at home.
Strained out the lemon peels yesterday, and moved carafe to freezer.

It's very tasty. Was a bit worried when I sampled a bit a few weeks ago, but the extra 3 weeks while we were out on our cross-country trek gave it a chance to mellow.

Coffee, fresh from the French Press.

My coffeemaker has given up the ghost - heating element - after 10 years.

Taking recommendations on a replacement... though maybe I should start a separate thread?

I thought with a French press, you just need to boil water?

Yep. Boiling water, poured over coarse ground coffee, straight from the burr grinder.

I pulled the press out of the cabinet when my coffeemaker died. It usually is only used when camping, or when I'm in the mood for a single cup of really good coffee. I'm a pot or two a day drinker, so this is labor intensive way for me to get my caffeine fix.

Oh, I see.  I thought a French press makes better tasting coffee, and was thinking about getting one to embark on becoming a coffee drinker in lieu of the Diet Coke I have most mornings.  Already have a nice electric kettle that I use for tea.
