pear cider

Tell me more...

I wasn't aware this was an unusual drink. It's all over the place in the UK...

I've had apple, cherry and peach ciders, but never pear. It might not be unusual here... if you know where to look. And I'll be looking from now on.

----
I'm drinking a Dublin Dr. Pepper* right now, while grilling a steak that's been marinating in Lime/Cilantro/Beer for the last 6 hours. Will switch to a nice light wheat beer with dinner.

*picked up in Dublin, Texas on the way back from Colorado/New Mexico. Only Dr. Pepper bottler in country to still be using original formula. Everybody else uses corn sweetners, but they still make it with the granulated cane sugar like they did in the 1890's. The stuff is really, really good. Wish I'd picked up 10 cases while we were there, instead of just the one. (Thank goodness it can be ordered online)

Well I haven't decided yet except that I want it to be American beer tonight and tomorrow, so I guess that rules out the Budweiser "American Ale" (which happens to be delicious), I guess I'll just go with Natty Light.

My throat isn't 100% so I'm sipping some heated Jack which I got as partial payment for giving someone a ride up to Porcfest.

3 Bud Lights with the 10 pieces of pizza my roommate gave me.  Yes, they were small pieces.

V8 fusion is bomb, makes a great mixer.
