Dammit Joy!  Always teasing us with lovely foodstuffs.   :(

Both coffee & foodstuffs are excellent.

Favorite moment of the evening, so far...
Taking bite of the carmelized brown sugar, butter & spices which hardened when drizzled on ice cream, then immediately following with coffee, so I could let the buttery goodness dissolve on my tongue. Happy, happy, joy, joy!

I know that.  You're faster than me and I was too lazy to fix it.

Is Quintana your real name? One of the very best friends I have in the whole wide world's name is Quintana. I still use his Safeway card just to see the clerks look at this white boy funny when they tell "Mr. Quintana" to "have a good night."

No, my real name is very Ukrainian.  This name is taken from Jesus Quintana. He's a character in the movie The Big Lebowski.

Oh, the Jesus bowler. I have seen that movie a hundred times, and never picked up on his last name. Or at least, not that I remember, what with the Caucasians.

Hot water.

Hey! That's what we're drinking, too. Except, I've run the hot water through Trader Joes Super Dark Volcano Blend, freshly ground.
Seemed better than basic hot water, to go with a ginger roasted pear, ice cream & a triple ginger thin cookie.

The Volcano shit is amazing. I made a mocha with it this morning, with the new espresso machine I just bought from Amazon. It reminds me of a blend they have in the coffee maker at my work called Dark Magic.
