I suppose that's what you'll call it when you tell your kids about it 20 years. Right after you tell the story about the second depression

No kids here, but I'm sure I'll sit on the porch and tell lame stories to the neighbor kids.

I do a mean Foghorn Leghorn.

Opening a bottle of Sustainable White. Haven't tried it before. Picked up a couple bottles while at Whole Foods, just because it will amuse me to drink something labeled "carbon neutral".

I'm going to have to Google carbon neutral when I get home later.

The wine is "Sustainable White", from Parducci's. It was good. At $10/bottle, I'm saving my wallet, which is a very happy way to "go green".
Finished up the bottle with today's experimental cooking w/turkey leftovers. Sliced turkey breast, served over a salad of: Parsley, mint, cucumber, crumbled feta, chopped sundried tomato (drained oil), couscous, red wine vinegar, lemon juice and olive oil.

Tonight we're drinking hot apple cider. Haven't felt warm since this morning's run in the rain, so it's pure comfort stuff tonight. The cider, and homemade egg bread, toasted with butter & parmesan, and a bowl of french onion soup. Followed by a little more hot cider, with a shot of something from the bar, for dessert.

Sounds interesting.  French onion soup sounds really good, too.

Also, it may be a booze night, after the couple of days I've had.

I has a bottle (22oz) of Koncord Kombat from the Manchester Brewing Company.  However, I had it before noon so I'm not sure if that counts.  I had a dozen shots of cheap Canadian whiskey and a bud light last night.
