I had two Goose Island Octoberfests tonight as I was watching Rushmore with some coworkers.  Good movie, decent beer.

Ok, so I feel like shit today (long story). Solution: Get drunk. Keep in mind I feel like shit due to physical reasons. Never drink because of emotional problems, kids. Thats when drug use becomes a bad thing.
Anywho, what should I drink? I have half a bottle of rum in my closet. So lets start there. I'm in no mood for straight shots. So, how about long island ice tea? Sounds good. Whats in a long island ice tea? I have no idea.
So this is what I thought I'd try. I picked up a bottle of Arizona iced tea with raspberry and a can of Kern's strawberry - banana and a can of Kern's Pear (just in case I didn't like the strawberry - banana). So I mixed a little over 1/4 rum and 1/2 tea and topped it off with the strawberry banana.

Pretty damn good!

More Newcastle, but I'll be having some Holy Water and wine at synagogue tonight to commemorate the New Year.  L'Shana Tovah!

That's because you live in Kansas. You really don't have a choice.

Dude, I don't even have to go to some state alcohol store like NH n00bs do. And I can buy it on Sunday (sadly it's restricted on time of day, fucking stupid) and on election day.

I wish I was drinking this now... but it's in the fridge getting nice and chilly for me.
Never had it before. Is my official "try something new" for today.

I've wanted to try that for a while.  I like things involving pumpkin.

Me too. I'm going with a Breakfast for Dinner theme tonight. This should go well with that.
Reminds me... need to add more cinnamon, and maybe a touch more brown sugar to the apples on the back burner.
