Well, that ended up to be premature. It's up to $200 as I type. Still, I made a nice profit.

and buy TYH @ 60.88

Yes.  However the math works.

Flip it.  Sell FAS.  Buy TYH.

trailing stop triggered at 19.55
19.55 - 19.29 = 0.26 x 3000 = $780 less $14 commission

I should have done in real life what I did here. I had three trades today, and even though two were positive, the negative outweighed them when added to the slight drop in my held position. I've learned my lesson. Buy. Watch until it either drops a bit (sell quick) or picks up. If it goes up, then add the trailing stop. If it heads down in a hurry, that will execute much faster than you can complete a sell order. In fact, I made about 2x what I would have today on one trade because I did just that.

The trouble with the trailing stop is, if the action hiccups enough to trigger the sale, then keeps going up, you miss all the up action. Oh well.

I hate cruise control.  But I never have an active position when I'm away from my desk, so its moot.  I'll go for a piss or whatever, but I don't ever buy and check back a day later.

I went long in TYH today, probably sell Monday or Tuesday over ~61.  Got it at 56.  Now watch it tank to 50.  Fuckin bitch.  I'm gonna stay off the market monday unless something goes hot, I need a break.  I'm making bad decisions, and my real cash is in the aforementioned TYH.  Quickies would be margin, and small gains are fuckin garbage on margin.

sell 400 QID @ 49.83

$0.50 x 400 = $200 less $14 commissions = $186
