U.S. Funding of Olympic Athletes
« on: February 09, 2010, 11:29:34 PM »

Anyone know if Olympic centers are funding solely by private contributions?

Here is what I found. It sounds okay. I always assumed they got some sort of federal funding and thus was never interested in watching this crap.

"USOC receives no continuous federal government subsidy, relying instead on corporate and individual contributions and on the proceeds of its direct marketing program."

Not sure what this means. It sounds like misdirection.
